The outdoor seating has beautiful views of Lake Geneva and the French alps along the beautiful marina of Lausanne which all in itself will make a mediocre dinning experience more enjoyable. Sure this is not a five star experience but it is sure good for the a hungry stomach. If you have a special request not to use peanuts please make sure they understand.

Afterward, I was surprised to see the bill for 23.50 and it turned out that the price listed outside (18chf) was only for take out (so read carefully!). Even though I really like Vietnamese food, I'm hesitant about returning to Saigon Restaurant because the service lacked warmth and welcome. There were not a lot of customers (two other couples) but staff seemed impatient during ordering and when explaining the bill..the kind of service more suited to a hole in the wall joint than a proper sit down restaurant.
