This place is okay. I wanted to rent a bike to go from Strausburg to Munster, about 90 km. So not…read morethe Tour de France, but a somewhat serious all day bike trip. Their website said that they had "randonée" bikes. I would interpret that as a touring bike: a road bike with wide tires and a rack. However, they were much more like city bikes: heavy, step through, mountain bike gearing, wide seat. That is what many Europeans consider a touring bike, so not ideal but okay, fine. The real problem is that the bikes are sized for French people, who are shorter, and there was only one size . I am 6 feet tall, and this bike was too small for me. Normally I would write something that is 59 cm, and this with the seat all the way up, was maybe 57 or 58cm. I made it to Munster, however it was not very comfortable. If I were doing it again, I would look for another bike from another shop that would fit me. I had asked year if they had nicer bikes that I could pay more for, and the answer was no. I also had a problem with the guy working there. I came in on a Wednesday, and asked if I could reserve a bike for the weekend. He told me that they had so many bikes, that I did not need to reserve one. When I came on Saturday morning, I walked in, asked to rent a bike, and he told me that they were all reserved. Of course, I was furious, after I got angry, he gave me a bike. Still, it made the experience less enjoyable. He was otherwise friendly and helpful, but if you're going to say you don't need a reservation, then it has to be that you don't need a reservation. If you just want a town bike, and you are less than 5'9", this place should be fine but make sure you reserve one. If you are taller, go elsewhere.

As I was exploring some cities along the Rhein I found myself craving a really good cup of coffee at a really good coffee shop. I'm talking a third wave, artisanal, single-origin, bordering on pretentious, independent coffee shop. Yelp led me to Cafe Bretelles and I was not disappointed! Don't be turned off by what looks like a tiny coffee shop- there's a second level with more seating if the outdoor seats and first level are full. Just place your order at the counter and take a table number. We got an oat milk cappuccino (1 shot of espresso and steamed milk), an oat milk flat white (2 shots espresso and steamed milk), a hot chocolate, and a shot of espresso. The espresso-based drinks were just what I was after. They were rich, bold, and creamy. The hot chocolate was more like warm than hot, but packed on the flavor. Overall, this is a spot I'd frequent for if I was in Strasbourg more often. For now, it'll be a fond memory of a perfect cup of coffee in a sea of underwhelming hotel coffee.

Finally found it and was underwhelming. It was a micro place with seating for 6 people, one seat available and I sat there while my wife ordered. We were told we could not be served, we asked if we could wait inside and rudely told we have to wait outside in the cold. Don't come here there are plenty of bakeries that serve cappuccinos. I am writing his review while siting inside Secret De Table with plenty of seating where it is warm and drinking a great cappuccino.
