The tram tour was a too long, with too much talking and information from the guide. The indoor…read moremuseum was crowded and had a bottle neck. But this was an interesting visit with a descent into the crater of a volcano that had been used as a quarry for about 50 years.
Highlights: walking around the crater and noticing the variations in the soil, gravel, and vegetation. The two films at the end (a 4-D and a train ride simulation), walking along the rickety old mining equipment catwalks. The kids loved going crazy in the bounce house.
If there is a way to take a self guided walk, I recommend that. There are also illuminations and events in the evening to check out.
