Nice little town! Nice little restaurant! This had all the makings of a disaster. We were forced to eat outside (I don't like eating outside), people were smoking (we hate cigarette smoke), it got cold (we don't like the cold), no one spoke English (our French is NOT good). BUT, it turned out to be a great experience.
The locals at the table next to ours helped us with ordering. We had an excellent burger and an equally good entree of pasta with truffle undertones. And we had this really excellent Corsican wine which strangely enough made the smoke and the cold seem to not be such an issue.
Overall this was one of our more memorable (in a positive way) experiences of our trip. read more
