When LPQ made it to BA I was excited. A taste of home was on my foreign doorstep baring delicious fresh bread. Who wouldn't get a little warm and fuzzy inside? I wouldn't say that its become a staple since its arrival, but I definitely think of LPQ of an alternative Starbucks. I can walk in, plug in, order something simple and sit for hours. No one wants to sit at the massive communal table anyway.
LPQ Belgrano is no exception. I recently went for the first time to escape the anti-socialness of working from home and I can confidently say that, as it should, its an exact replica of the other ones in Buenos Aires, free wifi included.
Ordered a fresh mint tea and a croissant (I really wanted to try the eggs benedict but with only 89 pesos in my pocket I decided to put that one off) and settled in for the long haul. Definitely one of those places.
Tip: Upstairs is super quite during the day if you want to avoid any time of distraction.
