The Drinks: - Lemon Tree cocktail (Smirnoff citrus mixed gently with mint, passion fruit, lemon, and with a dose of redcurrant liqueur): This was a very delicious drink. I do recommend it. The Venue: - A great venue to come and grab a drink. The music is loud enough to enjoy it, but low enough to have a good conversation with friends. A great mix. They have three areas to sit (the bar area, some tables and couches on the main area, and an outdoor area). - Wednesdays: It is a great venue to come on Wednesdays. They have a two for the price of one offer $240 ARS ($4.02 USD) for two cocktails. Great value! The only catch is that you have to buy (1) two of the same cocktail; and (2) at the same time. So either have a friend, or be like me and buy both at once. You will not regret it. Upshot: A solid bar to check out in Palermo Soho. I came here by myself on a Wednesday and made two friends. Great vibe. No te arrepentirás. Resultado: Una barra sólida para visitar en Palermo Soho. Vine aquí solo un miércoles e hice dos amigos. Gran ambiente.

Smallish bar with great drink specials and food. We dropped by to get some drinks after dinner, so…read morewe only had cocktails, no food (although it looked good). They have a lot of interesting cocktails served in fun glasses (mushroom cup, skulls, etc). The bartender was BUSY!!! There was only one but he slammed them out like a champ! He definitely earned his paycheck that day, and while we sat at the bar, it still took quite a while to get drinks since he was so busy making them for the entire place. They could've used another bartender, but honestly, he was doing a great job with the volume. The drinks were good and we had the luck of sitting at the bar to ask him to make it to our liking (spirit forward!). Overall a good experience and worth a try when you're in the area, especially if you catch their happy hour deals.

The places were loud and the music was not cohesive to the ambiance. We luckily found the Harrison Speakeasy and we had such a wonderful time. It's open late and really gives the speakeasy vibes that so many "speakeasies" are lacking these days. The music was great. The DJ was very impressive and played a nice array of music. Seamlessly mixing old and new salsa and more. The drinks - we finally had some good drinks here! I was so happy after the previous bars we had been to. The only downside here was that we got there and were having such a good time, then it closed and we were left wanting more. It was such a nice time and I really appreciated the opportunity to visit during our trip!

The Harrison is a New York prohibition themed speakeasy tucked behind the Nicky NY sushi. To enter,…read moreyou must walk through the restaurant and a server will take you behind the wine cellar and a "Time Machine". It was a bit funny seeing another country's interpretation of "American culture" but I think Harrison nailed it - from the New York newspaper menus to the classy interior to the expertly made cocktails. I could not decide on the cocktail menu, so the bartender asked me what my preferences were. She whipped up a mint banana drink and it was SO AMAZINGLY GOOD. Like one of the best cocktails of my life. AND it was only $6!! (Granted, all the cocktails in Buenos Aires are $6 USD) During my visit to Buenos Aires I also tried two of the "world's top 50" bars: Tres Monos and Floreria Atlantico. Honestly, I think Harrison has them both beat in terms of ambiance and beverage. Wonderful experience and I will definitely come back the next time I'm in town.
