(There are some other coffee shops in Paris that are similar in style, but if you *don't* eat animals and their secretions, any time you go to one of those "cool type" shops you have to settle for just a cuppa.) No! Us vegans want something to EAT, by jove. Thank God for Grounded. Everything is delicious and creatively presented, the hot chocolate is actually made with melted dark chocolate (um, SO GOOD,) and their menu is always evolving with the seasons. AMAZING food, guys. I'll be back -- hungry -- for more of their savory fare.

The two items we ordered were both SO good. We ordered some sort of toast that has almond butter, hazelnut butter, jam, and coconut flakes. It had the perfect amount of sweetness to satisfy a slight morning sweet tooth. The other item we ordered was the bowl of the month (or maybe it's the bowl of the week?) It, too, was wonderful, and so filling! Grounded is really cute and cozy inside, but I will say that it was HOT in this small space. Also, there isn't much seating in here. Maybe enough for 12-15 people. Still, the food here is incredible and the man working at the counter was so kind. Definitely stop in here if you can!

Visited early on a Wednesday, one of two small tables outside available to sit away from rain, choices trend traditional from Madelines to Viennoiserie including a fairly good Pain au Raisin and Almond Croissant free of Frangipane. Celebrated for his Kouign Amann, less tightly formed than others but certainly not lacking for Butter or Sugar, Canele lack the expected crisp exterior while Blé Sucré's "Brest" lacks the signature shape and would better be called a Hazelnut Religeuse instead.

Every single person is sweet and knows what they're talking about. They eat their own food and you can tell as you can ask if the special is good and they will be brutally honest with it The ambiance is typically French neighborhood-style bistro! People are nice and can talk to each other. The duck confit was a little salty but very tasty. The beef tartare might not be everybody because it is raw meat and can be slimy for some people. The waitress didn't really speak a lot English but she's really nice and tried her best. We got what we needed as we exchanged my broken French and her basic English. They take cash and card.

Le Cosy has great energy both inside & on the outside patio. It definitely feels like a locals spot. Started off with a nice chilled glass of Rose wine that was nicely balanced. Perfect for a warm evening. Then I highly enjoyed the grilled fish, with asparagus risotto, served with warm French bread. The meal was simple but delicious. The fish was cooked perfectly & the asparagus risotto was creamy but not heavy. The risotto was unique because it was made with couscous & not rice. The service was mediocre. Probably doesn't help I don't speak French and a few people were smoking around me as I was trying to enjoy this wonderful food.

Warm welcomed by the two waiters (I suppose as well owners and brothers) and we got a nice table by the window. It contains scrambled eggs with your choice of bacon, chicken or salmon, grilled vegetable, salad, fruit salad, fresh plain yoghurt, row ham, hard cheese, goat cheese, pan cake, mini chocolate cake, madeleine, basket of fresh baguette, butter and homemade jam accompanied by a hot drink and a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice. All the products offered were really tasteful and of high quality. Everything seems to be homemade and with love. A nice surprise was the mini chocolate cake: still warm and with a soft chocolate cream inside. The homemade jam was delicious and with a lot of fruit pieces inside. Service friendly and attentive. The only critical point the size of the table: a little bit too small to contain all the food and drinks brought. Overall a really great experience. I deeply recommend to try.
