We visited this lovely restaurant on a Saturday. We hit the timing perfect because there was no one…read morethere when we showed up. We had the pick of tables downstairs. It is shall, but so cute! Our waitress was great, friendly and attentive. The crepe I had was amazing and so filling. I've never had a egg in my crepe but I would do it again! I thought coming in I would get a savory and sweet crepe, but was so full with my first I couldn't have ate any more! I love place and would recommend trying to find it on your trip in Axe!

This place is MINISCULE, with one lady (the owner) doing the, um, crepeing. You'd better hope you…read moredon't get behind a crowd, or you may be waiting for a long time.... There's almost no upstairs seating, but there is the "cave" (cellar) below, which extends into a second room. But if you're waiting, better to stay in the front room, because if your order gets called (by the cook hollering from BEHIND the crepe cooktop), you'll never hear it. (This happened with the couple ahead of me; we were both stuck behind a crowd of 4 people, who populated the seats upstairs. The couple originally went back into the second room, then realized that they'd never hear their name. They came out and we chatted in Franglish for a while -- I know passable French, they knew some English. Eventually they went up to check...and she'd just called them.) The food was fine (good jambon et fromage crepe; decent hard cider), but overall, if you pass by and see a mob, it's probably better to keep on walking...

Ok besides macaroons, when you're in France you have to get the crepes, right? I had seen some…read morecreperies in Toulouse and Toulon but never got a chance to check them out, so I was stoked when I found this place right by our hotel! At first, the lack of reviews/photos was a turn off. I'm here to fix that for any unsure American tourists who happen upon this beautiful part of the world. Immediately when I opened the 40 pg menu (I might be exaggerating but not by much), I knew I'd have to try a savory crepe, a dessert crepe and a breakfast crepe. I'm not totally unreasonable so I knew I couldn't do it all in one visit. I first ordered the Curry crepe. I'm not sure the exact name but it tasted like chicken curry with a bunch of mushrooms instead of chicken. I loved it. I ate as much as I possibly could but of course, couldn't finish it. How else can I eat a dessert crepe if I don't save room? ;-) Next, I got the caramel apple dessert crepe. It was better than the curry one for obvious reasons. It was stuffed with sweet buttery apples, a big scoop of vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce. Freakin' yum! On our last day in town, I finally went back for my breakfast crepe just before checking out. Hey, it was my last shot to get one in France. I ordered an American breakfast one. I'm not sure the name but it had bacon, 2 eggs over easy and cheese. I am not big on consuming raw egg whites, so I kinda ate around it. The bacon was also very lightly cooked, not how we do it in the US. Overall, I'm glad I went back to try it out. I didn't care for that one much but that was just a personal preference, not anything they did wrong. The service here was good and it gets super busy on weekend afternoons. The seating is like 90% outdoor. They did have a canopy over the tables for shade. Why would you want to sit indoors in such an amazing place anyway?

Very reasonable for this area; nice service though very little English spoken. Menu is translated A lucky find for us.
