Just got in before the dinner rush!
Sat inside, but there are plenty of smoking, outdoor tables with heat lamps.
Service was ok. Our server had to be assisted by the owner/manager so not sure if she was new. She forgot our beer, didn't check back on us, and didn't offer condiments. It was fine overall - we were in no rush.
Affligem beer is delicious.
Tomato and mozzarella salad was very good - buffalo mozzarella was fantastically fresh and smooth.
Rumsteak in peppercorn sauce, seared to perfect medium rare. Very filling though the portion looked deceptively small. $19
Tartare de beouf : fresh, flavorful, served with fresh handmade potato wedges. Very large portion. $16
Creme brûlée was as you would expect at a French bistro - delicious. Real vanilla beans in the custard.
Reasonably priced. Somewhat loud atmosphere but typical of these types of places. Cam still be good for a date!
