Stopped by this restaurant/bar after seeing that they sold Malakoff for a relatively cheaper price than most places. Few seats outdoors, and the inside is like a bar area, although there seemed to be a back area that other clients went to, which may have been the actual restaurant side?
I ordered the Malakoff (24CHF) that came with three pieces, dried beef, and salad. It was a huge portion, and other restaurants that I had originally bookmarked that only served two pieces and a salad for a similar price, so this one was clearly the better option in terms of value for me.
The malakoff was delicious - ooey, gooey fried cheese on top of a toasted buttery piece of bread. Not too greasy, and the huge salad portion (with a balsamic dressing) helped me feel not too guilty about literally eating fried cheese haha
The thinly sliced dried beef was also surprisingly delicious.
Mostly everyone in the place was an older male talking and drinking, playing the lotto or watching television, so in terms of ambiance, it's not the best place, but the food was delicious and I'm glad I stopped by! read more
