Walking around Liege on a rainy weeknight, we stopped by this place that caught our eye from their relatively cheap prices.
After we entered, we were glad the waiter spoke some English, and explained some of the choices on the menu. Seeing as we have already had the Liege specialty - boulets, that day for lunch, my brother and I got the pasta.
I opted for the ravioli (perhaps because it was close to the restaurant's name!), and my brother got the penne deux sauces. When the pastas came, I was happy with the quantity, but it honestly tasted like Chef Boyardee a bit in terms of the ravioli. My brother's penne was good though - it had a nice red sauce and creamy white sauce, also of decent portion.
Together with a beer each, the total came out to just over 20 euros, and no real complaints there - I'd give it a 2.5 overall. (Plus .5 star b/c they were playing Scorpion in French on the TV, and I like that show!) read more
