Regardless, there were many cool and unique items available. I also thought it was fun that they had a bar right at the entrance offering mimosas ($3 - very reasonable) so that you could sip & shop. There is an entryway where a table was set up to receive gifts and write a note in a journal. At the end of the evening, this same table held bottles of luxury room fragrances for guests to take home. There was a stage for the band, a decent dance floor. Several carving stations were spread throughout the space. Also, at least four bars staffed with competent bartenders. Expresso martinis seemed to be the drink of the night. A full bar and several beer brands were available. You can leave the indoor space to the wraparound balcony and peer into the zoo and see the city skyline. We were able to see a lady lion prowling around in her lair. If heights bother you, this might not be your thing. It's up there. The only 'miss' is the lack of signage on how to get efficiently out of the parking lot. Especially in the dark. Not straightforward. Even the valet remarked as such. Once out, we drove through several of the park trails until we hit Tuleta and out to Broadway. Getting into the place was much easier. Of course, then it was daylight.
