My friend and I tried this cute, aesthetic coffee shop last week and as soon as you walk in...it's such a vibe! The outside doesn't scream coffee shop , in fact it's kind of an "IYKYK" type places because it's right in plain sight and I passed it for awhile before knowing what it was. Thanks to the San Antonio coffee fb group for all of the recommendations! They have a pretty expansive menu as well as plenty of delicious looking baked goods ! They have some cbd options too but I didn't try any of those. I tried the iced texas Star - flavorful and great espresso flavor. I do wish they used smaller ice cubes so the drink would last just a tiny bit longer. I also tried their chocolate croissant. Good, but would've been better warmed up! I don't remember if they offered that. My friend had the matcha and she loved it. They recently got a new matcha and she was worried because she loved the other one but was pleasantly surprised how smooth and delicious this one was as well. I definitely need to go back and try their matcha as well as other menu items because everything sounds so good. 1 star taken off because it is very hard to navigate with a stroller which is a bummer because I know tons of moms that love to venture out and find new coffee shops. Stopped by Flower in Flour Cafe and really liked the ambiance. It's cozy with cool couches and tables, making it a nice place to relax or catch up with someone. I ordered a small specialty coffee, the Texas Star, and paid $5.09 after tax, which felt like a great deal, especially for a specialty drink. Very cute coffee shop with yummy drinks! I stopped by with a friend right before lunch for a coffee break. I ordered the *Coconut Bliss which was yummy and not too sweet. The inside was very cute and seemed like a nice place to study. It wasn't too busy when we arrived but we still had to wait 20 minutes for 2 drinks when no one else was in line. This is the cutest little coffee shop! We stopped by on a Saturday morning and they were hosting a book club. Unfortunately that made our wait for drinks a bit long and there wasn't a lot of pastries available to order. The floral decor is very cute and there's a lot of seating despite there being a large party in the back. They also have a nice collection of board games, so it'd be a cute place to catch up with friends or go on a relaxing date. I ordered an iced coconut bliss and was very happy with the flavor. Went on a Saturday at 11 AM. We ordered and noticed I all of our orders were taking a long time. My friends order came out first 30 minutes after we placed our order.. It was just lemonade and a lemon poppyseed muffin. The Second order came out about 35 minutes after which was the coffees for my friend and her daughters and their scone. After that, I noticed that mine didn't come out and that other people were getting their orders, so I went up to the front and they had lost my ticket. They said they would make my order immediately, but closer to an hour later I didn't have my order. I did go ask. The girl said she had made my order and pointed it out on the counter. If you're going for work you'll have to find a place with an outlet - didn't see too many outlets by each table. I sat at the bar stools facing the window and there was an outlet there. NOTE: if you're going to find a quiet place to work, I'd suggest not to go here. This place is family friendly and gets very noisy the later it go. We walked in and the place was about half packed, good sized place for studying or hanging out having coffee. There were to workers, one making the coffee right at the front counter near entrance and another worker behind another nearby corner on a ladder fixing something. There was no greet when we walked in. My husband and I stood at the counter right between the two workers and no one acknowledged our presence. We were no more than 6 feet away from each of them and nothing. I am absolutely in love with this place. The exterior is so unassuming in a plaza on Bandera, you would never expect such a gorgeous, cozy interior. The decor is very homey and comfortable, with perfect spots both for sitting and studying/working, but also great spots to sit and chat with friends. The ladies at the register/barista station were so kind and welcoming, and never made me feel rushed while I was trying to decide what to get -- and I was definitely indecisive. Mini donuts? Macarons? Egg bites? YES PLEASE. I eventually ended up selecting the chocolate banana bread with a coconut cream cold brew, and I was in heaven.
