I loved this place! So organized, fair prices, and quality stuff. If I lived here I would probably rely on this place to furnish and decorate my home on a budget. The owners are incredibly friendly too! Gave me a discount because he knew I was using a debit card, so it offset the charge they apply for credit card use. Le Rouge Tete simply must not be missed. The shop is bursting with one interesting item after the other. There are Art Deco pieces, southern charm, beach perfect furniture, hundreds of smaller items, paintings...I am lousy at describing this wonderful shop. I can say that the prices range from easily affordable to items priced higher for the discerning eye. The shop is set up so that there are small, well-designed areas utilizing compatible pieces to create a theme. The best thing I can say is that there is an air about this shop that borders on magical. It has charm. It is peaceful, welcoming and somehow familiar. This is the mood set and maintained by the owners. I cannot think of a higher compliment than having customers speak of going to Le Rouge Tete to relax, unwind and revive their worn spirits. Le Rouge Tete (ok, the owner knows the "Le" should be "La" -it's a great story) was soooo much fun for my daughter and I last evening, as it was Ladies Night! My husband and I recently moved to the Morehead area and stopped by Le Rouge Tete a couple of months ago. I had seen the sign on the bldg. and thought it was an upscale hair salon that I might check out at some point, since surely everyone probably spoke French! My Review: A GREAT STORE, SO WELL ORGANIZED; FRIENDLY...NOT PUSHY OR SNOBBISH PROPRIETORS, HELPFUL, NOT HOVERING, CHEERFUL ATMOSPHERE, BEAUTIFUL ITEMS AT VERY, VERY REASONABLE PRICES.
