Their coffee is a bit bitter, which I like, but some people may find it too bitter. I love that their iced latte is a double-shot, and only 3.60$ ! Their breakfasts are amazing !!! And their deserts are really good. You can of course buy coffee (grains) to go :) On the down-side, they offer less lunch choices and they are not as good as breakfasts (my opinion) but i believe they still deserve their 5 stars. Lot of seating tables, free parking in the street, very nice waitresses. If you come on lunch time though, service is a bit slower, but on the week-end we never had trouble.

Si vous désirez manger sur la terrasse, la file d'attente est devant celle-ci sinon aller directement à l'intérieur . Le stationnement à l'arrière est grand. Pour la nourriture, j'ai décidé d'essayer la pizza les 3 petits cochons. Il s'agit d'une pizza avec sauce tomate, mozzarella, bacon, capicollo et saucisse. Toute les pizza sont servit avec un petit pot d'huile épicé. Les pizza sont cuit dans un four au bois et gaz sur une plaque tournante. On le goûte très bien. La pizza a un petit goût de bois juste parfait et elle était très bonne. I ordered the lobster risotto, which was excellent with just the right amount of spice. My son had the 10 oz striploin steak with homemade fries (chips), and it was absolutely delicious. I also loved the Canadian touch of coarse salt on the steak, plus the option to choose between Béarnaise or peppercorn sauce. Julien also mentioned their pastry chef placed second in a NY competition, and the desserts absolutely lived up to that reputation. We tried the pineapple and coconut pavlova and the "lick me hazelnut" ~ both beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. We also ordered iced coffee and a latte, and noticed something interesting: this was the second place where we found Canadian coffee to be smooth and mild ~ such a nice change from the often bitter, over-roasted American coffee. Yes, dinner was a bit steep ($300+), but it was worth every penny. Between the rich history, stunning design, outstanding service, and unique cuisine, I would highly recommend Bar George. So I took the Petinos which is 2 eggs, ham, bacon, sausage, porc roast, potato and fruits (which include pickle) and toast. Egg are small, smaller than im used too. It was good, but I feel 22$ for that was too much. Other took what they call a mont blanc which is a waffle with toppings, 2 eggs and choice of 1 meat. They did like it. It's a good place if the menu have what you desire. Just a bit pricier side for a breakfast. Any substitution or change come at a cost.
