Canadian Tire m'a facturé 729 $ pour rien. J'ai dû ramener mon véhicule par remorquage un dimanche pour qu'ils règlent à nouveau le problème. Ils m'ont donné un rendez-vous pour le mardi, mais quand j'ai appelé le mercredi, ils m'ont dit que je n'avais jamais pris de rendez-vous. Quand j'ai demandé les clés de mon véhicule, ils ont mis un certain temps à les retrouver. J'ai ensuite fait remorquer mon véhicule dans un autre garage où ils ont immédiatement identifié et réparé le problème. En résumé, le garage Canadian Tire Maisonneuve est à éviter. Ils semblent uniquement compétents pour les changements d'huile et de pneus.

They'll also (try to) get you to change parts long before you need to. Finally, they are extremely discriminating to English speakers. They literally told an English speaker to go to Ontario instead of seeking work at their establishment. If you don't speak French, still ask for your mechanic report in English but note that all parts will be in French. TL;DR: They will do good work, overcharge you, recommend work long before it's due, and discriminate against you if you're Anglo or coloured.

They do have a few small gifts in cases, and a small but decent selection of pens and stationery. Their stationery selection is not as extensive as Nota Bene Papeterie, but they do have many of the same sorts of things. They have Zebra and Stabilo pens and markers, and Moleskein journals, so the stationery brands they carry are good quality. Store is a bit cramped and tight to walk through, particularly when there are other customers.
