Help coordinate the onboarding process so that all new hires are set up for success, including new hire orientations and training, if you have any? Coordinate with staff the hiring, onboarding, and training processes to be conducted smoothly and efficiently by helping bridge the gaps in communication. Humiliating and Frustrating. I'm horrified to see that I'm not the only one who has had a awful experience with this place. Been with them for several months only to have one assignment. The assignment was nothing like how they explained it was going to be. Turned out to be taking dictation and I'm not to fastest at typing. Both the client and myself were disappointed in how the assignment turned out. They give little to no notice, when a job comes up. I have to scramble to re-schedule my life, and then I'm treated as ungrateful, if I'm unable to make it. Out of the staff, Judy, is especially apathetic and is very dismissive. Every week I call in (futile) to be checked in for availability, only to treated like a problem. I thought this place was suppose to assist job seekers. not treat them like pests. read more

Well this is definitely a belated thank you for the reply to my review, but it's obvious now to me that you were just padding your database. Not one time did anyone follow up with me after my visit. So no, I don't feel that my visit was "appreciated" in the least. It was the biggest waste of my time and I'm still angry about that. I was made a fool of and I don't take that lightly at all. My resume was NOT read prior to my interview, and your response here on Yelp did not address my main issue - the fact that I wasn't even CONSIDERED for the job that brought me into the office in the first place. I have told several of my friends to stay away from your agency and steered them elsewhere, since no one has bothered to follow up with me except for this Yelp review. I will echo all the low reviews for this "company" Quiet possibly the biggest waste of time I have ever had. I was contacted by these hacks and told I was perfect for the opportunity. We arranged for an interview (30 min drive each way for me). When I arrived, I filled in the forms and waited for the "interview". The hack sat down, looked at my resume and first asked what position I was there for (???). She obviously had never even looked at it before. When I told her, she said well I didnt have the specific skill needed for the position....I was stunned. When I asked why the other hack told me I was "perfect", she had no response. She THEN proceeded to critique my "stability", meaning work history!!! My jaw dropped, I really had to do a double take and tell her to actually READ my resume. She then proceeded to babble about looking at other opportunities they had and they would be in touch if there were any. This in all of about 5 minutes. I was fuming...at the waste of an hour of driving and the total lack of professionalism. I am glad I avoided all the "testing" I HIGHLY advise everyone to avoid this place like the plague. I went to Leading Edge a few short years ago and the agent told me that my temp to perm assignment was for 2 weeks. I did not hear from the agent and the Manager of the company told me she thought it was strange that the agent didn't call her either. I contacted the agent the last week of my assignment and left a message. A few days later or my last day finally I got a call and the agent was surprised that I wasn't going to be there longer she forgot how long my assignment was. That was a bad experience then recently, I received a call by a different agent and she invited me to come in and visit with her so I went in and I told her what I was interested in what industries and full, part time, temp and she gave me a job opportunity and since the A/C was out I was told to come back Monday to view the video and I would need 2 forms of ID even though they had this information already. I went back Monday and the Receptionist didn't come to the door after I rang the door bell twice. When I called the Receptionist or whoever answered the phone said that the office was closed due to the A/C. Maybe they should put a sign on their door? I was told that I would receive a video to view in my email and I could show them my ID virtually. I never received an email and no phone call to show that they are interested in working with me. Scammed twice but there won't be a 3rd time. They seem nice and professional but that is deceiving. Bad business practices. read more

When I applied to this agency, I told them what field I had the most experience in. Instead of referring me to those areas of employment, they told me that they rarely get assignments for my expertise even though I kept seeing assignments in my field routinely advertise. I signed up with leading edge in October 2017 thinking they would help me find a position that deemed appropriate given my background. I had just left an 11 yr. job and this was a new experience for me. Walking into the office was a positive experience as everyone seemed friendly, professional, and the office was decked out with Halloween decor. However, things took a turn for the worse on my first placement. They asked me to join this "spectacular" team for a company called "Build-a-sign" Little did I know this was a call center position and I had no background whatsoever being on a phone all day long helping customers build,create and advise with signs. However, I decided to give it a go to show leading edge I was willing to make the effort. Working for this company(build-a- sign) was a NIGHTMARE. Individuals would come to work in their pajamas, they handed out liquor/beer on Fridays (meeting days) and most of the employees smoked weed on their break. I cried in the bathroom EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. I had never been exposed to such unprofessionalism in a work environment. When I called leading edge to see if there were other opportunities, they declined and basically made me stay at Build a sign since "it was a job". I asked a lot of questions while at build a sign as you can imagine and the leads and managers would speak of me in a negative light thinking I was too stupid to catch on. Bottom line, Build a sign was horrible to me and I was ever so grateful when I completed my assignment. When I initially wrote my negative review about leading edge they used it against me when I called and spoke to Lisa the district manager. "Why would you want us to help you find another job when you wrote a bad review on us?" was Lisa's response. Lisa is right. How naive for me to consider that leading edge would even care the slightest about me or any one else's future. As you read the comments you will notice negative comments and one stars. Believe them. Leading edge is a major let down,disappointment and does not take interest in individuals future. If you are looking for a professional, or any job for that matter do not use leading edge. In their eyes you are the villain and they are the hero who eventually will not save you. read more

sigh. I have never worked for a temp agency before. I saw a job posting on Craigslist and decided to apply. A couple hours later I received a call from Cece and she e-mailed me all the testing I had to do before my interview. The following day I had an interview and it was quite short compared to other interviews I have done in the past. I honestly believed I was going to have a second interview with the company that was hiring but that didn't happen. I thought it was too good to be true-and even the person interviewing me said the same thing. Then I received a call asking me to start the following day. To make a long story short, after working for less than a week, I received a phone call letting me know that my assignment was over. I couldn't believe it because I was not given a specific explanation of why I was laid off. smh. I thought I was doing a good job learning many different positions with the company. I even asked my supervisor to provide me with feedback in case I was making mistakes. While working with that company I came to find out that nobody lasted in that position and it made me wonder why since the job was very easy to do. Well now I know. LeadingEdge makes more money recruiting people and starting them on new assignments than keeping existing employees working with the same company. Stay away from this company. I went through Leading Edge due to my work place requiring it. At the end of my time with Leading Edge, I was told that they were informed that I was hired on with my work place, but apparently not, because they proceeded to deposit TWO additional paychecks into my bank account. After calling and speaking with them about this, they let me know that they would reverse the charges. Instead of reversing the charges. THEY DEPOSITED TWO ADDITIONAL PAYCHECKS for the identical amounts. Of course chaos ensued after that, but I will just cut it short here. That alone is enough to deter me from ever wanting to work with this company again. read more

It was my first time using staffing agency to find work so I was a little hesitant but it ended up being such an awesome experience that I really enjoyed.They provided me with the opportunity to work for such a great companies, where I've built significant connections and experience, just because LeadingEdge believed I had the skills to do it, and they had the resources. From the day one, Jamie is the sunshine as soon as you walk in the office, making you feel comfortable and at ease and every single one is completely filled in with your information and where you are in your interview process. Another thing what really impressed me the most is how they appreciate and value each of their employees. On the National Staffing Employee Week each of us (employees) was given roses with a cute thank you notes just to showed us their appreciation. Last month, I won the employee of the month award, they came all the way to my office where I currently work at and suprises me with balloons, fresh cookies plus ($100 cash). For me, that was very sweet gesture and those things they do means most to me, Like seriously, What agency/employer would do that extra effort nowadays? LeadingEdge is incapable of finding jobs for its clients. You're far better off with looking on your own. I signed up for their services back in April, with the hopes of finding a decent job. LeadingEdge is great at hooking you with their intake process (everyone is nice, engaging, and seems amped to help you with your job search), but that's where their professionalism and eagerness to help you end. After a few weeks of hearing nothing, I got an interview that went nowhere, a great one-day assignment, and a pack of lies the rest of the time. It seemed that every time I called, they had just submitted my name for a fabulous opportunity, or had just e-mailed me about one that was perfect for me, but nothing ever materialized. Case in point: I called LE about a job listing I'd seen on their site, only to have someone tell me that they'd already submitted my resumé for consideration. I didn't say anything, but this seemed quite unlikely, as my resumé didn't indicate that I was a great fit, but rather, had transferrable skills. I wouldn't have jumped off the page as a good candidate, unless they were just submitting it to every listing that requested a college graduate. That's hardly an effective strategy either way. I called them again today, to discuss my options for going forward. I wasn't primed to leave LE, but rather, wanted to have a substantive conversation about how I could get more assignments. Instead of listening to me and saying that she'd have someone return my call, the woman on the other end (I assume this was Lisa) worked herself into a conniption over me not using my first name. She was somewhat combative and rude from the moment she picked up the phone, and became increasingly so when I broke character and inadvertently made the exasperation I then had be heard in my voice apparent. I am currently underemployed in a front-facing role that takes a lot of abuse from ridiculous people, but I'm paid to do it. I will not abide the same treatment from someone who is supposed to be helping me and needs me as a client to help keep their business open. Once we got past her fit over me using my middle name as my first name (the conniption continued even after I explained that I don't use my first name for anything), she reviewed my records and suggested that the reason I wasn't getting any assignments was due to my current lack of personal transportation. In other words, it's all my fault because I'm too poor to replace my old car. I told her that this wasn't true, because I had been under consideration last week for a position that was Metro-accessible. She signed heavily and said that she wasn't going to help anyone who isn't "nice". I told her that if being factual (read: honest and calling people on their lack of it) is what she considers "not nice", I would rather part ways with LeadingEdge. I also told her that she'd been quite rude and condescending throughout the call, because again, I'm not going to take abuse from someone who really isn't in a position to give it. She sighed again, and said it was fine. So, if you like rude, unprofessional liars who will only string you along to inflate their job-seeker enrollment count, then sign up with LeadingEdge. If not, I would encourage you to seek out low-cost recruiters or utilize non-profits such as Goodwill for finding a job. read more

Last year, I found myself out of work unexpectedly. I decided to go to a temp agency while I continued to look for regular employment on my own. Leading Edge's website gave the impression that they specialized in temp-to-hire assignments, so even if nothing panned out in my own search, I was hopeful that maybe they'd be able to find a placement that would segue into a permanent job. When I went in, I was provided an application to fill out and they took my resume as well as a copy of my driver license and social security card (which I had to provide several times because they kept losing them). They told me to go home and take some online tests that they were going to email to me. I performed well on the tests and they told me that they would be in touch regarding assignments and to call every Monday with my availability. I didn't hear anything that week and called the next Monday. They didn't have any available assignments, but again said they'd be in touch. This was how the next few months would play out in my experience with them. In four months, I had three very brief assignments (two weeks at one place, two days at another, and two weeks at the last, although it would have been two months had I not found a job on my own). While on the few assignments I was given, others also registered with Leading Edge said that in their experience, they may have had one or so long term assignments (the definition of long term here being more than a week or two) from Leading Edge, but they mostly only got notifications about working a few days here or there. Due to inconsistency of offers, they registered with other agencies and learned to notify Leading Edge of availability when they were waiting for a more regular assignment to begin that another agency had gotten for them. One example of an assignment that I was offered was to work a three hour event on Thanksgiving day for $10/hr; this would have entailed spending a considerable amount of time looking for parking that I would have had to pay for (they only refund up to $3 for parking, where parking for this event would have been in the $10-15 range pending how close the lot was to the venue). The staff are pleasant enough on the phone or in person, but it seems like they're rushing to get you off the phone or out of the door. There seems to be a lot of disorganization (the a fore mentioned lost DL and social security card, more employees showing up than were requested/needed, some employees having an orientation and some not, etc.). When I did find employment on my own, I was informed rather curtly that they wouldn't help me in the future because I didn't give them two days advance notice, which is a policy that I was not informed of until this time. I definitely understand such a policy being in place, but considering I was never given an orientation I was a little taken aback by how short they were with me. Over all, it was a pretty negative experience insofar as the work offers were few and far between, the pay wasn't very good (they ask you what you need to make and kind of balk at you if you say anything more than $9/hr), and if you're offered an assignment that you either can't take or won't work for you for some reason (i.e. you're not making money after travelling costs and expenses), you get treated as if you're ungrateful for the bones you're being thrown. I know it's a tough economy and work is work, but unless you're being difficult and turning down everything because you think it's beneath you, I think being treated as if you're a problem is unprofessional and rude. read more

In 2001, I relocated to Austin w/out job. I reached out to Leading Edge Austin and was immediately placed in a position that eventually transitioned into a permanent position. In 2005, I returned to college and was in need of a position that would compliment my academic schedule. I reached out to Leading Edge Austin and, once more, they came to the rescue, placing me in a position in which I remained for three years. After graduation, I left Leading Edge Austin for a full-time position with the State of Texas. Nine years later, in February of this year, I was unexpectedly unemployed and in need of a position and $$ fast! I immediately reached out to Leading Edge Austin and the very next day I was working! They kept me busy with assignments for over three months until I found a full-time, permanent position in my profession. If not for the ladies at Leading Edge Austin I would have not been able to make ends meet. Because of them, I was able to keep a roof over my head and food on my table, seriously! February to June of this year were very difficult for my family, but God was looking out for us via the angels at Leading Edge Austin. I will be forever grateful to them. I was working an assignment for LeadingEdge Personnel, when I became very ill. To be point to where I was admitted to the hospital. I informed the Supervisor where the assignment was at. Called LeadingEdge and spoke with recruiter. You could hear the attitude in her voice asking me when I was going to return to the position. I polite informed her that I was admitted into the hospital and was having emergency surgery to save my life. Evidently that was not a good enough reason to not go back to the assignment. The so called recruiter (lady and I say that while holding my tongue). Called me the following day to see if I would be returning to assignment. When I informed her that I was still in the hospital. She informed me that they would be ending the assignment since I would not be returning right away. Now the client ( assignment ) was fine with me being out a couple of days anyway due to me not having a computer at my desk and access to things. But this lady was very mean, upset, pissed that I could not return. To this day, I have not heard anything from the company nor the company employees if I was living, dead or what have you. the recruiter's attitude was very unprofessional and unwarranted. Guess that is how this company is. Sad when you like the job you were doing. And they like you and need you, plus understand that if you do not take care of you, then. I have no respect for person, persons nor companies that do more hurt then help. read more

I give Leading Edge Five Stars! They are extremely professional and competent. They take the time to get to know you and where you would be a good fit. Yes, you do actually have to fill out some paperwork to start with. And yes, at the beginning you do have to learn about Leading Edge and how they work. But wouldn't you have to do that anywhere when you first start to work for a new company? They try really hard to get you the job you would like. And they also try really hard for their clients to find just the right person to fill their job opening. It is a win-win for everyone in my opinion. read more

This is directly addressed to Lisa, the most unprofessional, uninformed, egotistical person I have ever had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting. I lived in New Hampshire and wanted to move back to Texas - where I'm from. I scheduled an intake with Lisa over the phone and then flew down for it. Right before I was to leave for my flight, but AFTER I had purchased it, Lisa called to tell me that she didn't want to follow through with the interview because I was not IN Austin AND established. I found this concerning and basically said that we were having the interview because I flew down specifically for it. She balked and then agreed. I came in for an interview for an accounting position at Benton Enterprises Inc. that LEP was advertising for. When I arrived, everyone seemed friendly and helpful, but now having been through the process I can see that was a farce. I tested in the 98th percentile on all their testing. I was told to go to an interview at 9am the day my flight was leaving at 1p. I went and was hired on the spot. The paperwork that LEP provided about the job duties and working hours of the company was WAY off and Lisa even admitted in our exit interview that she sometimes doesn't follow up with the company to find that out, she just assumes that like normal companies they work 8-5. That is NOT how a agency is supposed to work. How can I budget on YOUR assumptions. I digress. I started the assignment two weeks later after packing up my family and house and moving to Austin. I drained all my savings to make this happen and made sure that Lisa knew this before I even left New England. She assured me that Benton Enterprises Inc. was a great place to work (as did Benton - they're getting a separate 1star review), that 3/4 of her temps went on to full-hire there, and that I was going to be happy. HAHA. False Come to find out that Benton Enterprises Inc. was a fully dysfunctional business whose accounting department consisted of 2 people; The office manager and a payroll clerk. After my first week of employment there I was concerned because the hours were not as stated on the paperwork. I also wanted to let them know about the unprofessionalism of Phillis, the office manager, and that I might want to look for other work if the hours could not be at least 40. I made that call on Friday (4/8/16). On Monday morning when I arrived at work I noticed that the OM was treating me extra crappy and I knew that something I had told Lisa in confidence was relayed to Benton. On Tuesday morning (4/12/16) I went home around 2pm sick. I was called about an hour later from Lisa and told that I was fired. It came as a complete shock and I was furious I had moved halfway across the country to work for a week and a day. I was told the reason that I was let go was that I "wasn't taking enough notes on the position, I had thrown papers on the OM's desk and said I didn't have time to do them, and that my concern for making at least 40hrs a week was a "concern"." I had a meeting with Lisa in the office, which was NOT a good meeting. She greeted me with a scowl on her face and a rude tone in her voice. She immediately began to ask me some questions about getting the office key back in which I replied, "I would like to pick up my check before we even start this conversation." She said, "we can get it later." I responded with, "No. You have a check for xxx amount and I would like to get that now. Then we can talk about the position." Her response was "I can see how this meeting is going to go" extremely sarcastically. When she arrived back I asked to speak to her manager in which she informed me that she was the Vice President of the Austin location - I doubt that considering her business card says Office Manager. When she told me she was the only one I could complain to ABOUT her, I just laid it all out. I told her that she was unethical in releasing privileged information between her and I to the client - she vehemently denied it. I explained that her belittling me on a loss of .5hrs a week was not her position and that she was lucky I didn't report her. I informed her that my fiancee had heard the whole conversation from Hi to Bye and she patronized me by saying "of course she did. haha". She argued with me..... This is the "Vice President" of an organization ARGUING with an employee. How utterly unprofessional. I chastised her for her actions and said that I did not want them representing me anymore. Two days later I was called by Jamie and was asked if I was still looking for a position. I was flabbergasted. YES I WAS STILL LOOKING, Lisa just cost me my job! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you use ANY other agency that LeadingEdge Personnel. They are, in my opinion, crooks and have ZERO regard for their employees. I'll be filing a complaint with the BBB, Texas Attorney Generals Office, and the Texas Association of Staffing. Oh and Lisa is the blonde in picture shown. Lower right. I had an interview today and they didn't even know where their office was. They had me running all over. Apparently they don't know their left from their right either. I specifically asked if I needed to go in the direction of Randalls or left towards Valero's and she told me to go left. I do and I'm walking and walking and walking. Nothing. I call back and the Chrissy woman said I was going the wrong way. Then she said I yelled because the other idiot, CeCe had no clue which way it was. Neither did she. Then they cancelled my appointment even though I didn't yell. I was frustrated and who wouldn't be??? It was hot and I'm walking in long sleeves and pants trying to find a place that the people that work there don't even know where it's located and instead of staying on the phone and helping me, they were rude and brushed me off and then they don't want to work with me because I was upset and tired and couldn't find their office. I'm glad that they don't want to work with me anymore. They are stupid and rude. I wish I could give zero stars. hmm......all these reviews and not ONE above two stars. I've worked with recruiting/hiring agencies in the past and this is the first time I've seen such unprofessionalism. I came into the office (on their reach out) and interviewed as looking for an accounting position. It seemed to go well; I received an opportunity for an interview at a company the next day and went. Judy called me right afterword and ensured me she would call back letting me know how it went. I never got any call from her, so I called back the next day twice, only to be told she was busy. In the meantime, I received an email about how they had several accounting positions available and needed recommendations to fill them, and another asking why I hadn't checked in. Judy managed to call me 72 hours after her initial follow-up call. She informed me, as unenthusiastically as possible, the client "decided to go ahead and give it a try." read more

After months of trying on my own with no interest back from employers (due to lack of current employment), Leading Edge was able to get me 2 interviews the first week!! I am not feeling very good about my relationship with Leading Edge at this time. I had accepted a temporary position on the second shift and had an issue come up with transportation. I informed Lisa and she basically brushed me off and told me not to bother to return to the job site, after I had told he that I was willing to finish out the week. I am a returning employee and when I walked into the office to inform them that I would like to be put back on the available list, I was not greeted at all with any sort of appreciation or willingness to be helped. This is very disheartening, since most who walk into that office are feeling pretty low and disheartened by the employment status that is going on right now and then we are not greeted warmly nor professionally for that matter. Also, I had referred a good friend of mine and she was placed in a temporary position, but, I never received my referral gift card...I mentioned this several times when I signed up for the second time, but, it was not acknowledged at all. I was not impressed with this staffing agency. I submitted my application and they interviewed me over the phone. LE asked me all the typical phone interview questions and sent me 5 long assessments to complete (about 3-4 hours to complete). Then they scheduled me for in person interview. Sat in the office for about 25 minutes and then they escorted me to an interview room. Waited for another 10 minutes. Then one girl came in and left. Then another interviewer came in and left. Finally another came in and introduced herself and basically disqualified me as an applicant. Why waste our time, and say that over the phone. I would have not taken assessments or drove to interview. read more

Aaarrgghh. . . never worked for a temp agency so I had preconceived ideas that were never met. I thought they would find/have jobs to send you to, well they sent you, for interviews, after their extensive application process. Received a temp interview and assignment within a week or two. It didn't work out, and I was unexpectedly let go because my data entry was not accurate enough, althouh I was punctual and never missed a day for 1-1/2 weeks. O.K., so I hadn't done data entry in decades, but I needed a job. . . Kelli Howard was very sympathetic and understanding and suggested I get back on the "horse" and try another assignmet. Great, I needed the confidence booster! Kelli called me for another assignment, but got really ugly when I asked about the salary! What the . . ? She said she was basically testing me, to see if I was really interested in the JOB or just the salary. . . never heard from Leading Edge again. That was February 2012. Now I'm trying to do my 2012 income taxes and I haven't gotten my W2. I've called a couple of times and have been assured by Cici that a duplicate is on its way. I've had it and have made a complaint with the IRS. Of course, you have to provide tons of information about your time with the employer, their address (including zip code), your income and the Federal income taxed withheld!!! What the . . ? Thankfully, I had kept my paystubs as a reminder of where I worked in 2012 so I had the information, but so far, I've been on hold with the IRS for 40 minutes. Lesson learned. . . never again with a temp agency (or at least not Leading Edge), and keep good records! read more

I only gave the one star because you have to. Lisa the office manager does not care about the employees that she places, she takes something that happen to you out of your control and then decides not to place you again, without ever bothering to tell you why. I got very ill on my first assignment with them. I elected to let them know that due to health issues would not be returning. I have called twice since then and was treated very rudely by the twenty something bubble heads that she has working for her. Well I called today and the attitude had not change. Rude, short, bad attitude. So I called her royal highness, Lisa and complained. She then explained to me that she had only heard from me twice since my position had ended and that they were less than anxious to place me again because of my health issues. I told her that the two times that I called I was never told that there was an issue. These people lie, they are rude and they are uncaring about people. I see that I wasn't the only one that gave them only one star. They deserve about a negative five. Oh and avoid CeCe Katz, she is her lacky that was never taught how to treat people with respect. I would never recommemd this place to anyone. I called everydsy to try to get some work, they never had anything, finally Lisa said "you dont have to call, we will call you". Will never, never go there again. If i could give them half a star that wpuld be too much. read more

Everyone is entitled to there own opinions about Leading Edge Personnel and I believe the opportunity of joining Leading Edge was a god send for my own situation. After joining at the end of June, I was offered an assignment the next week. It is now 3 months into the assignment and I was offered a permanent position. I attribute this new career path to Leading Edge Personnel. I went into this avenue of job hunting with an open mind knowing how difficult it was looking for a job on my own and Leading Edge Personnel did not disappointment me one bit. they explain the policies and procedures. This was my first experience with an employment agency, but having been jobless for almost 5 months I thought I could use the help. I walked in, not knowing they take appointments, and they squeezed me in. Staff was all very friendly and helpful. I had an interview within a week and was offered the job later that day. I didn't feel the chemistry was good between the GM and I told my contact at Leading Edge this, and they didn't have a problem with it. They agreed to continue looking for me. Luckily I got a job offer from a company I'd applied to on my own, but considering they got me a job in a week (full-time by the way), I would definitely go back if I'm in need and would have no problem recommending their help to others. read more

I told myself a couple months ago I'd come back and post this review as soon as my "contract" with LeadingEdge was officially done. I got my last WEEKLY paycheck today, so here I am. (BTW they are easily the best employers I've ever had in terms of payroll). I give them 5 stars because there is literally NOTHING bad to say, and a lot of good. here's the set-up. You sign up. You take a few simple tests to see how familiar you are with typing and navigating a computer screen, and a couple programs. Do not be intimidated by this. It's not like school. And they don't take much time. And you can come take them whenever you want. And you don't have to take them all at once. Notice this pattern of convenience? Just get the tests over with and forget about it. That's what I did. Besides you can retake them as much as you want anyways. After the testing, you're basically a free agent temp who they help to find assignments. And the thing you really need to understand, is that you can say no. It's weird. It really is. They will offer you an assignment, and if it's not what you want, or too far away or whatever, you say no and that's that. I turned down something that wasn't enough money, and it was no big deal. They are literally trying to get you somewhere you want to be. This was the thing that really threw me off at first. So I gave them the area I was looking for, and a loose pay range, and immediately got placed. I wound up turning down a full-time position at this place, because it was a little far and a better assignment came up (where I now work full time). Here's the thing. LeadingEdge will put you in position to get hired on full time somewhere. It's really up to you. If you are an earnest honest person who wants to work, you really are crazy not to get linked up with these folks. Everyone at their office is really helpful and nice. Sometimes they were waaay nicer than I think I would have been. Actually they are way nicer than I would be. Their payroll setup is a breeze, and works like clockwork. I didn't want to include anything negative in this review, because I really was and am tempted to speculate about the negative reviewers. But I won't. But I want to. I am trying to think of something negative to say about this company but can't. I'll leave you with this: the set-up they have is such that it's really on you to make it work or mess it up. It's also up to you to define the parameters of where you want to be placed, and whether you accept or say no to an assignment. They hold up their end of things, and then some. The staff is really helpful, and very patient. They also offer insurance. I hope I'm not leaving anything out. read more
