Not ONLY did I hear back, but Chris called me instead of writing a generic email response. He was attentive and concerned... and he fixed my issue immediately. This site is horrible. I saw a comment speaking of rude customers. And no, as a person that has worked in customer service for 10 years, she has been one of the most rude unconcerned person I have came across ever. You are supposed to feel good about spending your money with a company. This company will make you feel HORRIBLE for asking about your own order. They cancel as soon as you don't want to except something different than what was advertised. As if you mislead yourself. I would honestly just recommend you skip yourself the hassle because that 1% chance of them even being kind or welcoming to you is not worth it at all. The shipping takes like 8-10 weeks, doesn't depend on how much extra shipping you pay or what you select. And don't you even inquire about where it is. Just to even further you the type of people they are. I left a google review, on the communication or any further info after you place the order. I wasn't mean or rude. I used a separate email and everything. And like I said wasn't rude, I have the right after I purchase something to leave any review I want. Very happy with the product... shipping was delayed so to COVID as with post things nowadays. However the product was very well sealed/shipped. Leaf remained fresh keeping its slow burning and mild flavor characteristics. Recommended for anyone who loves quality rolling products! read more

Have been going to leaf only for about 3 years. Never had any problems with them until there was a mix up with an order and I was charged double for shipping. Customer service reps said I would get a call Monday. I received no call and had to call them back the following afternoon. once I was charged double shipping I asked to speak to the manager. She proceeded to tell me that it wasn't on them to pay for shipping and seemed to be more interested in ending the conversation rather than showing any customer service. Absolutely horrible customer service. Ordered over a weekend, and they hold hard and fast to their 3-5 day "turn around time" to get an order out. I didn't want to get into an argument over what constituted a business day (apparently Mondays don't count) as the woman I spoke with was rude and apathetic to the situation. So here we are more than a week later and my order hasn't even been sent out at this point. This was for a small $150 order with no tobacco products (and all items in stock) and ready for shipment on Wednesday, according to the person I spoke with on the phone last week. I won't be spending my money here ever again. My orders from other vendors were delivered on Wednesday of last week which prompted my original call to get a status update. The lack of customer service and argumentative rep I spoke today (a week later) with tells me they dont care to have my business (they have 100 orders a day I was told). I got started with rolling at Leaf Only - 100% of my tools and supplies have been purchased here. I don't have much to compare to, so I'm trying to be fair in that respect. I haven't been terribly impressed by the quality of the tobacco I've received so far. I've ordered American (both organic and non), Bright Leaf, Canadian (both organic and non), Burley and Turkish. One bag of Turkish I received arrived in a pile of tiny, bone-dry flakes as small as a dried kitchen spice, up to the size of a half dollar.. like I got the scraps that fell to the bottom of the storage container. Moisture overall has been very inconsistent. Some of the bags of leaves are incredibly dry and crumble with the gentlest touch. Some of the varieties have had a lot of dirt on them. I wipe them all off before de-stemming and shredding, and still end up with a pretty sizeable volume of brown dirt powder on my work tray after shredding. Another issue is the leaves arriving "matted".. like a big bundle of them were pressed hard together when they were moist, then they dried out and stuck together by the time they shipped, and they're very difficult to get apart (made worse when they're extremely dry and disintegrate in your fingers). My first batch of Burley and Bright Leaf were nice. The leaves were clean, tender, and easy to work with.. but so far that's been the only good experience. On a few of my leaves in one batch, I found what appeared to be very tiny dead bugs (hundreds of them on each leaf - tiny elongated black things), and had to throw away about 1/4 of a bag. I understand at these are agricultural products and that I can't expect pristine product every time, but the quality control just doesn't seem to be there. I like that this store offers kits (very convenient and a good value), and I like the amount of information on the website and large number of products on offer, but I haven't been thrilled with quality so far. I will be trying a different store next time. read more

I received 0 amount of the products I ordered , customer service said they would look into it , after a while I heard nothing , then when I enquired again I was told that customer service had already resolved my issues. He also shipped USPS, since UPS refuses to deliver from them anymore--and what I'd asked the customer service manager to do when I had issues. I love the staff - very friendly and professional. I looked forward to my 30 minute drive to their store. They even gave me a jump when my car battery died...The diversity of tobacco on hand for rolling cigars is the best! I no longer pay the outrageous prices on over-taxed cigars and actually prefer the ones I've created. People have offered me money for the ones I make, but selling them would be, ahem, illegal. Where do I start. For years the quality of the tobacco that are being sold in the gas stations are low quality. For years I couldn't figure out a solution outside of going back to New York where the best quality fronto leaf I've seen before I heard about leaf only, and purchase bulk and travel back to the other side of the country. The day I found Leaf Only my life was changed... Not only do they ship fast, and accurately, but their leaves are of such great quality! No matter which leaf/leaves I order they are great quality leaves. Also wanted to be specific about their customer service because I see some people in here who didn't sound too cooperative complaining about their customer service. The person that I've been in contact with ANYTIME I had a question or concern has been Monique . I believe she is the customer service manager, and she has been a great help to me numerous times. People please remember. Treat people with respect and be kind, and they will make sure as best as they can that you, as a customer, gets everything you need and even some complimentary items for being a good customer. Can't stand customers who t think they will get what they want being mean and nasty. Doesn't work like that. If Monique has a bad review, 9/10 that customer was not cooperative and was being rude. If you want to get the best out of your experience with any company be nice, and come with understand that they are running a business and things happen, unintentionally. Your job as a customer is to then be patient and understanding. That way you get literally everything you need and some items you may want just for being cooperative. Quality used to be decent even though its pricey compared to other places, but the last few times its been going from bad to terrible! This time I decided $115 for 5 pounds of trash is not fine by me and contacted them about it. The owner replied politely that its agricultural product and consistency can't be expected... while some truth might be in that you can't sell rotten product to people and expect them to be ok with it! I bought leaf tobacco from this place and they sent me a different leaf then what I ordered. They replaced it with a worse quality leaf...on top of that with attitude and arrogance. When I explained to them that this leaf is from the top of the plant...which no one can smoke it's much too harsh, bitter, and loaded with nicotine. The person on the phone talked down to me as if I didn't know what I was talking about. I do not recommend this company at all. Have been using this company for years. In the beginning orders shipped quickly and leaf quality was consistent. Lately, about the past year, orders take a week to even get out the door then another to get to your door even if you pay the ridiculously high next day shipping fees. Last time I paid for next day shipping my order took four days to even ship out from them then another six to get to my door. The last year the leaves have also been very inconsistent. Either very dark and thick or very light and thin with holes in them, when ordering the "same" product. Have called multiple times with no help from anyone. They are the only company I've found with this service. Maybe they know it too so service is lacking? Please return the quality back to where it was in 2014!!! read more

They used to be great and I don't know what happened. The description of their products 85% of the time is incorrect. When you call and question them it's not their mistake. How when the whole pound is light and smoking like trash and that's exactly where the order went. No refunds and their staff is extremely rude, at least all the females that I've spoken to. As much as I want to continue to do business with this company, I simply cannot. After a total of 9 orders, I can say the only thing consistent about their product is the degradation of quality. I have been dealing with the same leaf for all of my orders, but when I ran into an issue with the leaf being extremely thinner than what I had become accustomed to, customer service responded that the bale was lighter in color due to a new crop. This did not answer my issues of the consistency of the leaves not being up to standards of previous orders, and I was not accommodated in any way. I spoke with customer service today again after trying to place another order only to be met with the same thin leaf that actually matches the description of another leaf they carry. I was told I would be fully refunded for this leaf when I return it, but I'm still left feeling unsatisfied with the way the entire situation was handled. read more
