The product itself is good/useful. If you're only interested in gutter protection and the price is OK with you, I don't see a reason for you to be deterred by anything else in my review. If you have an issue you think they can solve and it's not directly related to a clogged or dirty gutter, they may say they can help even if they can't or aren't sure (and by the time you know the truth, it will be too late -- don't be a sucker like we were, only contact them for gutter filters). We had a LeafFilter rep come out because we thought one of our gutters was the culprit for the wall touching it always getting soaked when it rained. I made it super clear to the rep on the phone as well as with the in-person sales rep that this issue was the reason we contacted them. We have seen the commercials and figured since we now live next to a forest, we could solve one issue and prevent another at the same time (but only if they could help solve the main issue). The in-person sales rep went onto our roof and scoped everything out and said their product and service would help us. $9k later and less than a week after their product was installed, all gutters inspected, cleaned, and adjusted where needed... the wall was still getting soaked. They sent out another guy who knew before even seeing the issue that it was a roof problem, not the gutter. After seeing the roof he showed me exactly what was happening (which was what he suspected all along -- rain water was directed towards the wall, not diverted away from it). Another $45k and a roof replacement later, the wall is no longer getting soaked. My problems with LeafFilter are (1) why didn't they send out that guy in the first place when they knew we had an existing issue that we needed addressed (did they intend to decieve)? And (2) in order to not void the LeafFilter warranty when getting the roof replaced, we had to leave the filters in place and trust the roofing company to take care with them (they did) or pay another $1200 to LeafFilter to come remove and safely store their product. They never responded when I asked how much it would cost for us to return the product because $9k for an issue to not be resolved sucks, especially when they sold us on their product and services solving it. I would give a zero if I could. Please do not pay this company to install gutter guards. The water is running behind my gutters(between the house and gutter, over the gutter on to my patio, in other words the water is running every where except for where it is suppose to, down the gutter spout.. they promise you a great American product that they stand behind 100% and yet it is like the Scarecrow from the wizard of oz, pointing other directions instead of fixing the issue.. please DO NOT waste your hard earned money on this company. Update to the business managers reply: we have attempted to reach out to leaf filter numerous times but the issue remains unresolved. Job#SCR06225. Local leaf filter rep no longer replies to inquiries and have reached out to the number provided below numerous times w no success in getting the issue rectified.. So I stand by my review DO NOT GET LEAF FILTER if you want your gutters to perform their function properly. read more

We just had new gutters and downspouts installed at this time. We will purchase the leaf guards at a later date. We had heavy rainfall since they were installed and no issues noticed. The only complaint I have and is why a 4 star review, is the installers left a lot of metal pieces throughout the yard and I had to pick it up before mowing. They also left a hammer on my roof. The install team just needed to be more thorough when cleaning up and packing up before leaving. All in all, I am happy with the product, service, and value. read more

Leaf Filter Gutter Protection was installed in 2019. Every time it rains, the water overflows, ruining the parameters around the house. It leaves puddles of water close to the foundation, causing the basement to become extremely damp. Every single time I reached out to customer service and management to rectify this situation, I didn't get anywhere. They ceased all communication after I submitted pictures and videos of water damage to three managers. There was no resolution to date! One of the managers that I attempted to contact refused to communicate with me. Between April 1st and May 31st I made 37 calls to this company to have it resolved. I requested it to be removed to no avail. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! read more

Terrible company. Sales guy showed up gave us the typical sales pitch, we got an estimate and was told we'd hear from him the following Thursday and he never called. I called him on Friday only to be told he'd call Monday with an estimated date of installation. Monday came and no call. I called him Tuesday to be given another poor excuse. This went on for 3 weeks, only to be told they didn't think they could do the installation because our house is to close to the neighbors house. Then they send a guy out to tell me ya they can't do it. Friday the operations manager calls and starts raising his voice at me telling me for a "reduced price " they can do one side of the house (what's the point) . Oh let's not forget the salesman asked me if I had a a latter the installation person could use when they installed. They are unprofessional, ignorant and obviously don't know what they are doing. Sales person that took measurements, photos and walked around the house should have noted they may not be able to install. I wasted 3 weeks of my time only to be told they can't do the job. Well I now hired a local guy and his price is literally half for the entire house and he had no problem doing the side by my neighbors house. Leaf Filter SUCKS and they are a rip off. read more
