It was clear from the beginning that she would dedicate a very high level of care and attention to making sure that we got beautiful photos in the style we were looking for. Karman really went above and beyond to make our photos look great. She made extra trips in advance to our ceremony and reception venues so that she could check out the lighting situation and scope out possible locations for great shots at each. She did a wonderful engagement shoot with my husband and I where she helped us to get comfortable with her style and with getting lots of pictures taken! I'm so happy we did that, because it made us so much more comfortable on our wedding day, and the pictures we got are really spectacular. At our wedding, Karman was all over the place hustling to get tons of fantastic shots of our guests, our venue, and of course us! She was also extremely easy to get along with -- I remember interviewing another photographer who told me she would yell at my family members to get them to stand still for group portraits -- and I was so happy we went with Karman instead. She worked with us to make sure what we wanted worked with our budget, and she also spent a good amount of her own time meeting with us before the wedding, doing a walk through at our venue, and arriving earlier than scheduled the day of the wedding. He was about 3 months old at the time…read moreand we were excited to get the photos done so we could capture a time that only comes around once. I will fully admit I hadn't done my due diligence. I should have checked the prices more carefully prior to shoot and had I done my homework the events that followed wouldn't have come as such a surprise. Tara Morris, the photographer, came to our house and took photos of our new family. She did a good job working with my son, getting him to smile as best she could, etc. The service wasn't anything more than I would expect from any professional photographer, but she was friendly and suggested what pictures might be good to have. The photos themselves were good. My wife and I were married two years ago had our wedding pictures professional done for that occasion as well. It is my experience that any professional photographer is going to do an excellent job taking pictures. We were very happy with pictures we received from T.Spoon Photography, but when I pay someone $200 to come to my house to take pictures for a 1/2 hour, you expect them to be good. The problem with the entire experience came when we received the digital prints and went to order a few copies. The .jpeg images were $100/ea! One hundred dollars per picture, you read that correctly. 4x6's were $20 each. We purchased a few 4x6's and 1 larger photo with the hopes that we could scan them and then distribute them to our family afterward. When we received the pictures in the mail, each photograph was stamped on the back with a big 'Professional Photo, Do Not Scan' message which means that professional companies will not scan the photos for you. In the end, we ended up paying hundreds of dollars for maybe three or four 4x6 photos and one 5x8. The worst part was that there were many more pictures we would have liked to keep, but simply couldn't afford to do so. I've had other pictures professionally taken in the past and the .jpegs were around $10/ea. One hundred dollars per picture is so ridiculous that I wonder how T.Spoon Photography ever gets a single referral. Save yourself the heartache of having to turn down good pictures because of ridiculous prices and go to anyone else. Great pictures don't do you any good when they're outlandishly priced.

My husband and I learned about Pizzuti Studios when looking for a wedding photographer. We were…read moreactually referred to them by another photographer couple who was booked on our date. We liked what we saw on their website and went up to Lowell to meet with them in person. We liked Rich and Ashley immediately. They were very professional but also had great personalities. In addition to providing us with homemade cookies, they showed us examples of their past work and gave us a tin containing their product and pricing brochure along with examples of some of their products. We left very impressed and, after interviewing one other pair of photographers, decided to go with the Pizzutis. Prior to the wedding date we had an engagement session outdoors at our wedding venue (Mount Auburn Cemetery). Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate and we had to reschedule twice. The third attempt was on a chilly windy morning which made things difficult, but Rich and Ashley made the best of it. We ended up with some great photos, even if our cheeks were pink from the cold and my hair was blowing all over the place. This session helped us all learn about each other and also really helped prepare us for where to shoot the best photos on the actual wedding day. (I would recommend doing this with your photographers, regardless of if they're the Pizzutis.) We had a bit of a unique wedding, with a small ceremony one day and a huge party the next. Rich and Ashley were awesome throughout the whole thing. They managed to get all of the formal photos we wanted quickly, without frustrating our guests, and were wonderful with the young children. (Rich has a great way of getting people to do what he wants without seeming like a jerk about it.) They took tons of candid shots at our party and brought a laptop playing a slideshow of some of our wedding ceremony photos. Ashley even got into a moon bounce with my husband and me and got some really great photos of us. They had our photos up online about two weeks later, shortly after we returned from our honeymoon. The photos are amazing and there are literally hundreds of them. Overall, we're incredibly happy with their work and really enjoyed having them as part of our wedding.

Moreover, my fiance was deployed to the Middle East at the time I was planning our wedding and Tatiana was a compassionate and sympathetic ear during a particularly difficult and vulnerable time. We wanted our photos taken in Boston where we got married and Tatiana was so helpful in finding the best locations to get our pictures taken. During the photoshoot Tatiana was fabulous.
