I do not usually write a review unless something has caused me to feel so strongly that I am compelled to take the time to do so. This is one of those cases. I have two grandchildren who have attended this facility for just over a year now. I drop off and my husband picks them up. We are both educators in the state of Delaware. 1) I am totally satisfied with the facility and then some! The staff is very, very professional. If something happens with one of my grandkids, I receive a phone call straight away; not waiting until the end of the day. That is a huge sense of relief knowing that if anything questionable happens that they will reach out to me immediately. That has built my trust in them. 2) The teach the children, not just 'babysit' them. My grandkids have learned things ahead of time; things that are not always taught before Kindergarten. My grand-daughter entered KD prepared! My grandson is following the same learning path. Satisfied! 3) If your child 'likes' their teacher, that should tell you that the teacher has shown them care & kindness. My grandkids like the staff = Satisfied! 4) Ms. T. is very straightforward and transparent. She does not beat around the bush and tells you honestly. I happen to like that kind of attitude; needed in school and business. Satisfied! 5) They post info on the menus, activities and learning, and any scheduled closing. Also the hours are veery generous. Satisfied again. I think the bad reviews had to have been disgruntled parents who could not hold up their end of the agreement they signed. I would have no issue recommending this facility to anyone looking for a quality childcare option. I feel that I was blessed to have found them! Theresa Ruff is nasty, unprofessional, and bipolar! She is the biggest liar, cheater and fakest business owner! She treats her staff like trash , works them like dogs and has no real connection with the children and all the while she sitting at home watching the cameras, creepy! My husband received a call today from Theresa about our grandchildren, these calls are for emergencies and this thing wouldn't give him any information and she hung up and kept doing so! We are on the emergency contact list! WTH!! Don't take your children there, it has mold, but it'll be removed once she sees this! She is absolutely the worse I've seen in a long time! Theresa is a HORRIBLE OWNER. She's super RUDE & DISRESPECTFUL NASTY, not only to her employees but to parents as well. She makes a big deal out of of nothing. She always thinks her way is the right way & what's best for your child. She sooo NOSEY if you have an aged child at her center she will question them behind your back That Daycare is always under-staff that explains why because of the owner nasty attitude explain. She pretends to care about your children to your face but yells and calls them little Bratz behind your back. I want to let this business know how our family has appreciated every big and little thing this childcare has offered and done for our family. We have had our grandchildren, nieces and nephews. All of the children were cared for well. Ms. Theresa is extremely flexible, fair, and willing to work with families financially. The children are given wonderful learning activities and they eat really healthy and well there. I'm a parent who kids have been enrolled there for the past 6 years. My kids love it there and the education that they have received has strengthen them in school. Ms. Has been very professional along with her staff. The building has always been spotless and my kids have never been sick the entire time they been there. I would recommend this day care to anyone.
