    1st day of school

My 3yr old son has been coming here since April of this yr. At first, it was emotionally, a hard transition for both us as parents and for my son, but the school is very welcoming and made it smooth and easy. Teachers here know very well how to handle kids of all ages specially teacher Zeb. She has a way... a gift... of how to calm, discipline, teach and play with them in a way that kids can easily follow and learn. My son loves going to school, he is learning a lot and blends well with the other kids. They have daily schedules whic include circle time, dance and sing, arts and craft, snacks, nap time, outside play and they even learn other basic international languages. Our plus for us is that my son is not quite potty trained yet and they help and encourage him to use the toilet to pee and . I highly recommend this school... they are safe, clean, trustworthy and effective.

My son has been attending the learning clock Montessori school for the past two years and we've kept him enrolled there for a number of reasons. Initially we were attracted to the school because of the intimate feel and the cultural diversity but the sincerity of the teachers and their openness to parent involvement added value to our experience. We like that there is a maximum student threshold. Because we are always actively engaged with our kids at home the thought of enrolling him in a large classroom was off-putting even if the student to teacher ratio is considered acceptable by law. We like how there is such diversity among the teachers for such a small school. One of my favorite things about the Bay area is how it's such a cultural melting pot and LCMS is a reflection of that diversity. Although this is an English-speaking school the kids have exposure to four languages on any given day. We like how the instructors have a way of letting you know they truly care about the kids well-being. Toddlers and preschoolers are the same in many ways but also have different needs and requirements. I believe kids can tell if people have their best interest at heart so when my son tells me that he wants to stay a little longer when I'm picking him up I view it was a subtle reminder that I made the right decision. My wife and I are as busy as the next set of professionals but I like how when time permits were able to help out with a holiday party or making an art picture with his classroom. This openness ultimately solidified my fondness of the school because it gave me exposure to how his other classmates seem happy.

Letters, Numbers, colors, shapes...that the kids are learning.

Joanna has exceptional attention to detail: she noticed when our baby was sizing out of diapers, needing faster flow on bottles, and managing layers of baby's clothes for cold mornings/hot days. As first time parents, these insights have been really helpful and also made us feel like baby is getting personalized attention. Joanna also responded well to our baby getting a cranial remolding helmet, using good judgement for breaks as needed and noting improvement of her nap quality over time; baby has not had a single heat rash and tolerates the helmet well at home so the wear duration at WMG has made the acclimation smooth. Baby appears to be reaching milestones quickly all thanks to the playtime she is getting at WMG. We have noticed at home that baby has become an independent roller, is able to sit up unsupported for extended periods of time, grasps/reaches for toys, and brings things to mouth. Baby seems to be well socialized when we go out to large gatherings. Baby smiles at drop off and pick up. Joanna sends pictures showing baby playing and interacting with other babies/kids. Lastly, I was so anxious about baby getting sick as kids inevitably do when starting daycare-- baby has not gotten sick once. This feels incredibly rare, and I attribute this to Joanna's diligence for cleaning and sanitizing. I am SO thankful and relieved to have my child be in Joanna's care at Watch Me Grow. Cannot recommend enough!

Every time I picked her up, she was always in a great mood, smiling and waving goodbye to everyone as we were leaving. Unfortunately, they had to move out of San Leandro, but I believe they're opening up a daycare in Pleasanton, so if you are in that area and looking for a daycare, definitely look into it!

Kailan is such a wonderful person and you feel how much she cares for each kid. She nurtures their individual needs and gives them an outlet, activities, and play that actually tends to their likes. He has a hard time napping from time to time and she always communicated how his day went at PH. He had an ouchie once, and she talked me through what happened and also provided a solution to ensure it doesn't happen again (it was VERY minor). I ALWAYS felt safe dropping our little one to her care. He loves her cooking and always gives lots of hugs. I wish I could clone her and the team and move with us, lol. We have pretty bad PTSD from the previous pre-school and Kailan gave us a sense of security in knowing they actually care and keep all children safe while having a ton of fun.

When searching for a daycare, I was a first-time mom entrusting my child with a stranger and it was no easy feat. I interviewed a few places and Miss Yan checked all the boxes. Meals are included, they were trilingual, local, and most importantly, there was a lot of warmth from the caretakers. My son has learned a lot since being here. We also get tons of cute crafts coming home. In addition, there are some fun activities scheduled for the kids such as firetruck visits, bunny feeding during Easter, and once there was a mixer for the parents. The teachers have shown my boy nothing but love and patience and I am grateful to have found this spot. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone.

I highly recommend this daycare to anyone which is why we've been with her for about five years. Seriously, this daycare was the biggest gift because we dont speak Mandarin (canto speaking house hold) with our daughters and for them to come home and sing songs and poems in Mandarin is very impressive to us. My daughter usually comes home with arts and crafts that they have done during the day and a quarter to half the time it has something to do with the Asian culture. Also, another thing I like is that Ms Yan and the staff keeps the house very organized and cleans it daily.

Araceli, Memo, and their family are universally loved amongst all kids and parents. The level of care, warmth, and education they provide goes beyond what you would expect. Their attention is shared with all kids equally, and I can share my experience after nearly three years. My boy started daycare around one and a half years old after attending a not-so-great daycare. As a new parent, I did not fully grasp what an impact a daycare could have. When he first joined, there was a period of time where he was not fully integrating with the rest of the kids. They worked with him slowly and tenderly, and he started opening up after a short while. He is now very extroverted, but the most important thing to me was seeing how he blossomed and became noticeably happier week after week. He also has a hard time eating, but I can always count on his plentiful healthy meals during daycare. That one hasn't been fully resolved yet, haha. As an aside, I bump into them at Costco every few weeks and they are always picking out the best quality ingredients. The kids are spoiled. As far as the day-to-day goes, their time is filled with play and enriching experiences. They are not just being taken care of and entertained; they are guided through a learning process tailored to each one. There is obviously a lot of care placed in pushing each kid's potential and, from what I can tell, they are exceeding academically and developmentally. Mine is performing at a kindergarten level in many subjects. Quick note on value, Araceli's was more affordable than our last daycare and all meals are included. This is getting long, but TL;DR: my son is happy, fed, educated, and loved here. I am eternally grateful for having found Araceli and Memo.
