So, I got some amazing toys, they have a bunch of great things! Staff were ok. ( I didn't end up talking to them except when I was checking out, and even then all they told me were to insert my card and ask me if I wanted a bag... ) But, on Google it said there were jellycats! There were not any out in the open...and I didn't feel comfortable asking them. I checked online for the prices and safe to say it was okay. But overall it was kind of overpriced for some of the other products and staff weren't the sweetest. read more

I was just in learning express and me and my friends were looking at Sonny angels and we grabbed one to walk around the store with and the lady that was working at the front told us we couldn't walk around with it so we put it back. 30 seconds later Cather known as Cathy which is the owner comes up to us, grabs my friend on the shoulder and says "what's going on here" started giving us attitude for 0 reason and says "you can't be over there" screaming at us. I said there was no reason to be screaming and that we didn't know that information. She kept on screaming at 4 girls. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I requested to please put the wrapping items in the cart and they refused! There were 7 gifts in front of me, it makes no sense to force a customer to wait 20-30 minutes in order to use the complimentary gift wrap, not everyone has availability to wait. Restricting customers who keep you in business will not bring you repeated business! Maybe is a strategy to avoid letting everyone take advantage of this service, in todays country time and money is precious, they don't get that. Learning express needs to stop selling Froggy's Lair products. They are highly unethical and deadly for frogs. Froggy's Lair lies to customers about how their biospheres work (more like don't work), all it takes is a simple water test to prove that. Way too many families are having to deal with the trauma of losing their beloved pets. Kids get attached easily and when their frog dies they are devastated. THIS IS A BAD PRODUCT. read more

This wonderfully stocked and fun store offering a variety of board games and toys are certainly the last of a dying breed. I stumbled into this place as I waiting to be seated for dinner next door. It's not often you get your hands on a mad libs book, those are always so much fun. Kids nowadays play with tablets as opposed to toys but a trip here should definitely help ease the amount of screen time they're exposed to. You can't find a toy store like this nowadays so I'm glad to see a place like this in the neighborhood. Greed over public safety. The sign on the door says maximum of 5-6 customers. I counted 36 and decided to leave and shop online after a very long wait. What pandemic? You'd never know there's a pandemic by the apparent lack of precaution here. People tripping over each other grabbing toys from bins and off of the shelves. No safety practice besides masks. Toys are dirty and touched by what looked like every person in the store. No concern for safety, especially the children. Toxic place waiting for an outbreak. No thanks. read more

The staff is not welcoming at all, nor do they offer any assistance. I purchased a Skip Hop Ball toy for my child on 5/31 which costs $7.99. When we got home, my child played with it and within 2 hours the ball detached from the string. I called the store and spoke to Jessica which advised me to come in and exchange it but because it was almost closing time, I decided to go the next day. I go in the next day and the cashier says Jessica just stepped out that she had to call the owner for my return. She dialed her on the phone to come out to the register but at the same time Jessica walks in from the front door of the store. So it's me and the the three employees alone in the store. When the owner comes out and sees the toy laid out on the counter, inspects it and she is like "oh wow this has never happened before!!!" And Jessica agrees. Then the owner asks if I want to exchange it for another one but my reply is "no". I don't know what they assumed. Clearly merchandise can turn out to be defective. I am posting this because they made me feel awkward for returning an overpriced low quality toy and maybe even assumed I purposely damaged it . Luckily I was the only customer but the outburst was totally uncalled for. Anyway, not a nice way to address a customer concern ladies. Next time, apologize for the inconvenience and offer a solution, THAT'S IT , no need to overreact. The cashier was nice though, she just did her part and was polite about it. read more

Owner Cathy scolded me with such disgust and dislike, I flushed red from embarrassment. "Jessica" spoke to me as if I was an idiot. Nasty scornful looks on their faces. My crime? I politely questioned a price. Huge storefront signs hung, see photo - "STOREWIDE SALE 20% OFF EVERYTHING". Then charged me FULL PRICE for a dollhouse! The 20% sign hung on the shelf above the dollhouse. I am right, they are wrong, and to add insult to injury, they were SOOOOO SOOOOO VERY RUDE about it. Hushed and humiliated in a crowd & with my child, I paid. Got a good price - Toys R Us price $3 more. Reviews are right - young staff are so kind & selection good. AND I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. Can't exchange if toy is open, no exceptions, they will blame covid and say it's posted in the store but it's October now and they are the only store without a covid return procedure. Sorry but competition is too high for such poor customer service. Also when I called a woman named Danielle answered and when she informed me of the policy she told me that it was Jessica if I were to come in. This was very confusing and when I called back to clarify, "Jessica" claimed in that in the middle of a phone call without any hold or pause in the conversation (or even change in voice) that Danielle hung up and Jessica magically answered.
