Our child attended this preschool around age four. While the school is organized and structured, it ultimately was not the right fit for our family. One positive aspect is the teacher-to-child ratio, with three teachers for approximately 23 children. The program runs efficiently, routines are clear, and from an operational standpoint the school is well managed. The directors, Mr. Wyatt and Mr. Wesley, were consistently kind, professional, and thoughtful in their interactions. That said, the classroom environment felt very crowded, particularly during nap time, when children were closely packed together. Our experience with teaching staff was mixed. Two of the three teachers appeared relatively inexperienced, especially in communication during drop-off and pick-up, which often felt limited or awkward. One more experienced teacher stood out as warm, confident, and engaging, and the contrast in experience was noticeable. Our main concern was that the program seemed best suited for children who fit narrowly into a compliance-based model. Children who were still developing self-regulation skills -- which is developmentally appropriate at age four -- appeared to be labeled or judged more quickly. In our case, our child was repeatedly singled out for age-appropriate energy (like in music time) and expressive language, and at times it felt clear that one teacher lacked a strong understanding of early childhood development and behavior. After raising ongoing concerns, I communicated to the director that I was exploring other preschool options, as I was not satisfied with how things were progressing and felt the program would likely not meet our expectations. Shortly afterward, we received an abrupt email from the owner stating that our child was being unenrolled. While the timing felt abrupt, we had already decided that transitioning to another school was the right move for our family. To be clear, this is a structured and well-run preschool, and it is clear why they have a waitlist, they truly do a great job, all around, but it may be a good fit for families whose children thrive in that environment. For us, we were seeking more experienced educators who could thoughtfully support a range of personalities and developmental stages. After moving to another preschool with similar structure but more seasoned teachers, our child thrived. read more

Our daughter spent two fantastic years at Learning Pathways Willow Glen. The campus is small but intimate and provides tons of opportunities for the little minds and bodies to explore. The school does a great job of balancing academics with music, art and PE programs, all run by the family who owns the place! They also provide extra curriculars with additional fee, our daughter enjoyed cooking the most - she now teaches me how to measure flour for baking! The program prepared her so well for Kindergarten. We couldn't be more happy and would recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly, safe and fun place for their child. I am shocked and stunned at how bad the communication is at this school. Mr.Wyatt assured me about my deposit for waitlist when I pointed out and questioned about it they took it out on the kid. I feel they have become extremely complacent and are not as good anymore especially after the loss of Ms. Diane(I toured with her couple of years ago, very nice person. My condolences) Just to add: based on the below, Mr. Todd says- I was offered the initial refund and we 'chose' the refund and did not join. No, that is not what happened. I enquired about the second deposit to Mr. Wyatt and stated the fact that I was offered a refund. Right in the next email he replied he was pulling the enrollment. I was surprised how rude that was and did not find it safe to send my kid there. I have email proof. Pulling the enrollment just because I enquired on their policy, shows a very complacent attitude. I think in early childhood education we need to have a good partnership with school and this attitude shows we cannot get that here. read more

I wish I could give Learning Pathways 10 stars - and I never say things like that! The teachers are stellar - warm, inviting, and terrific at making learning fun. That's because the school treats them like family, unlike so many other schools in the area. My daughter comes home with new words and skills every day, and I can see the pride she takes in learning. She has learned so much academically (writing, reading, math) that she is actually too advanced for ordinary TK programs, which is a good problem to have! And when she had trouble adjusting to a different classroom, Mr. Wes and Mr. Wyatt were incredibly kind and helpful, and ultimately worked with us to find a place where she felt happy and supported. The Willow Glen campus is intimate and beautiful, with a lovely covered yard and play area. Mr. Wes, Mr. Wyatt, and Mr. Todd run the school with such thoughtfulness and care, through pandemic ups and downs and everything in between. We adore the school, the teachers, and the kids. The Learning Pathways team has been an absolute pleasure to work with over the last few years. Currently, we have one of our children at their Cambrian location and another at their Willow Glen location. Both of our children have had great experiences at both locations and always come home with great things to say about their day. As a kindergarten teacher myself I had my own thoughts and expectations of my daughter's preschool and I was blown away by the communication, support, friendliness, openness, and love from all the teachers, the office, as well as the families we shared this experience with! Learning Pathways is a very special place. We have two kids in the willow glen location. My older one just graduated after attending for 3 years. We elected to skip TK at our neighborhood school to stay at LP for another year and we feel totally confident with he grew more academically at the preschool than public school TK. All the teachers are fantastic. They are loving and caring. The school is very accommodating in general. We love the school. They handled pandemic situation with stride. Both of my kids have learned so much and developed so much from the school, made so many friends. Glad that my daughter is still there for another year. My son went on to kindergarten with so much more knowledge and confidence than his classmates. read more

Last year, my daughter attended Learning Pathways. We loved it. What a nice place and what a nice group of amazing people. If we could send a kid there again, we would do that without any doubt. For us, Learning Pathways was not a business that was there to get something done. This place goes above and beyond. They give love to kids as they deeply care about them. They teach little kiddos amazing things and create an environment that brings the joy of learning to the joy of life, happiness, exploration and playing. This family-owned school is a place that you can trust as we definitely trusted. I always appreciated the additional steps they were taking to bring excitement to the class. From teaching sports to bringing animals to the class, from giving kids small musical instruments to PJ parties and more. My wife and I put both of our sons through 2 years each in Learning Pathways beginning when the school first opened. We could not be more pleased with how they've taken care of our children over the years. We've gotten to know the family that runs this business and they've always been kind, generous and professional. Our kids have thrived through a diverse and broad level of activities and skills offered by Learning Pathways. And it seems to be constantly evolving! All of the teachers and staff that we've communicated with have been warm, tender and compassionate with a great attention to detail. We always felt they genuinely cared about each and every one of the children. I think the school strikes a good balance of play, academics, creativity and physical fitness which was important to us. Handing your 2 year old over for the first time to a group of strangers can be quite a daunting leap of faith. Love this school! My kids have been there for two years now and absolutely love it. The teachers are so sweet and caring and give the kids lots of encouragement. Wonderful school and fabulous teachers! My son went to learning pathways for the last 3 years and and I was ready to enroll my daughter here even before she was born :-). Teachers at learning pathways are happy and well taken care of by the owners. Every teacher in the school knows all the kids and remembers them years after they move out. This talks greatly about how attached and committed they are. We kept our son here for Kindergarten as well and we have a sense of pride as he graduated Kinder yesterday. He's so smart, so caring , so social, good at sports and art, and a fabulous reader coming out of LP. He can read anything and everything, thanks to the focus on phonics from the very start. He's going to be way ahead of his class in 1st grade and that will definitely boost his confidence. Both the campuses are run by the same family and I would say they are fabulous! Two of my children have gone to Learning Pathways and we love this school! All of the teachers and staff are so kind, and it's clear how much they care about the children. We love learning pathways and couldn't be happier sending our kiddo here. Our son is always excited to go to school. The staff is very communicative with the families and always warm and welcoming. Where do we even start, I now have 2 children that have attended and currently attend this school. From the Staff to the Management down to the atmosphere, no other school compares. I am a parent that has not only toured every school around but interview other staff and students the people at Learning Pathways are in a league of their own. Todd is a wonderful owner who cares and is diligent in making sure the kids are learning and having fun. Wes and Wyatt are always participating in the classes and there to make the ship stay on course. The turnover at the 2 locations is lower than another school around which to this parent speaks volumes for the management and the way they treat them. I am also a parent to a child with severe food allergies and this is the only place I have felt completely safe in leaving my child in the correct hands. All during the pandemic they went above and beyond to keep the campuses open. Even during the mandatory shutdown in 2020 they kept the kids engaged with zoom and all kinds of other classes. Once we returned to class they did all they could to minimize the risk and the cleaning was always top notch. This is and will be the only school i recommend to other parents in the area. read more

Although it did take a while for the school to open it was 100% WORTH IT! My son is 4 years old (an only child) and was never in a daycare or preschool until now. I can see so many amazing positive differences in my son. I have split custody with his father so routine and structure was always hard for them to participate in. I was having trouble engaging my son in workbooks....even to just simply pick up a marker or crayon. NOW I always hear him sounding out the alphabet, singing songs, picking up his workbooks, dancing around the house and counting his numbers to 50! I love this school for the diversity in races, to teach my son that we love everybody. My son also comes home with all types of creative projects/worksheets. This school definitely gets your kids involved with hands on learning. My son comes home wiped out ready for dinner and relaxing time before bed. My son does have behavioral issues BUT the teachers continue to work with him and notify me every time he had a bad day instead of just throwing him out of the school. I can see he has gained confidence in playing with other kids and his daily activities. His teachers are so sweet and very kind with him and even gave me tips on how to work on his behavior at home.
