I've had my daughter at Action Day Lincoln for over 18 months now and I have nothing but good things to say. She started in infant care with Ms. Karla, and for a new mom who was hurting over having to leave my girl with anyone, we could not have gotten a better teacher. From day one we got delightful notes about what she did with her day, and they were so caring and attentive. She eventually moved up as she developed (I really appreciate that the classrooms are divided on a developmental basis) and now is in the preschool. She's had amazing teachers and teacher friends along the way like Ms. Hutaf, Ms. Yahaira, Ms. Marissa, and Ms. Stephanie. Now that they've upgraded to a digital report card system, we get photos almost every day, and I get to see her playing with her very first friends. I also need to give a shout out to all the adorable art projects she gets to do, the camp-like fun they have over the summer months, as well as all the amazing things she learns. My kid is still shocking me on nearly a daily basis with all she learns at school. It's way more than I'd ever be able to do with her at home, and I'm so glad I get to send her somewhere with the expertise and resources to provide those learning opportunities for her.

Bite mark that staff couldn't explain that my child had

My child went to Action day for about 6 months. At first we loved it , we really like Ms. Stephanie in room 8, she's great. My child enjoyed going to class. The director suggested my child moved to another class. I immediately did not care for Ms. Kim. She has no compassion for kids, she yells at them. One time I could have sworn she called my child dramatic because my child was crying when I dropped my child off. I was going to pull my child out of the Action day completely after being in Ms. Kim's class for 2 weeks. There was an incident where supposedly my child was pulling a toy from another kids hands and the other kid yelled stop and then proceeded to scratch my child in the face. I have no idea where the 2 teachers were and why they didn't intervene. I've never seen that behavior from my child, my child doesn't fight over toys. But i understand kids are kids, im more upset at the fact that it got that far and now my child has a scar. Another incident with Ms. Kim was she asked me to ask my child not grab things from the counter because my child grabbed the other teachers croissant and started eating it. lol my child is 2 years old, I'm sorry. She also never helped me when i dropped my child off, it was like she didn't even care. She never stepped in to say "okay mommy's got to go to work, say bye to mommy" nothing i literally spent 30-40 minutes dropping off each time(my child goes once a week so drop offs were always hard for my child) When other teachers helped right away without me asking. I can go on and on. It's like she's just there for the pay check, honestly. The last straw was my child coming home with a bite mark that lasted over 24 hours to go away, no broken skin, thankfully. My child's father did pick up this day and we received different stories. The office staff stated no one knew what had happened, however, a teacher, told my child's father that the kids were fighting over a little figurine my child took that day, i guess another kid was trying to take from my child. No one cared to check to see if my child was injured, like i said this bite marked stayed for over 24 hours, I'm sure my child was crying a lot when it happened. I'm just done. I was so happy with them in the beginning but it's not worth paying all that money if they can't even properly care for your child.

This was day one. Bruising was worse second day, but didn't get picture. They had "no idea how it happened."

Super shady! Please read the whole thing!!! My son hated going here. He is 18 months old. He came home every day with unexplained "ouchies." They give you an ouch report that always starts with "friend." Friend bit finger, Friend and I were hugging and we fell over and bumped our head. One time he had a major injury to his ear. It was bleeding and VERY bruised. definitely more injury than a toddler could do. They has no idea how it happened. Maybe it was on the plastic cot was what they told me because they had seen that type of injury before. The cots they sleep on are made out of plastic and have no sharp edges. I asked for his sheet so I could see if there was blood (I bring my own) and the said "oh we accidently threw it in the wash with the rest..." (the only day they ever did that) They also changed his clothes that day (only day they ever did that) and his other clothes were wet like they had washed them (only day they ever did that too). After that day my son went from just crying to hysterical when dropping him off. He was extremely scared of most of the women in his room. All this happened in the ONE and a Half months we attended ADPP. One day I picked him up, he was standing with his back to the fence on the playground staring at the floor really sad by himself. I went over to him and when he saw me he just fell into my arms crying and not one person said a word to me. Most days when I picked up I had to find the clipboard with his info sheet from the day myself. No one says hi or greets you. They don't try to sooth the kids that cry, I witnessed this with other children as well. The kids are ignored if crying. As if all of that wasn't enough, when I sent an email to them to tell them I was not happy and we were not going to be returning, I got an email reply back from the head of the department (whom had received my email via a forward from the infant center) my email was CHANGED to say my son had SPECIAL NEEDS and that was why we were not returning!!!!!! BE WARNED DO NOT TAKE YOUR PRECIOUS C

Our daughter never felt pressured to learn, yet we could clearly see her progress at home. She learned her letters and numbers, how to write and spell her name, and other important skills that helped prepare her for kindergarten. She also learned how to socialize with other children, follow instructions and routines, and be part of a group. Mila and her husband, Cuqui, also created a wonderful sense of community for the children and families. Their Christmas celebration was always so thoughtful, from the authentic Peruvian dinner she and Cuqui prepared to a gift for each child, and even a visit from Santa for the kids! Our daughter learned and grew so much during her time here. We're incredibly grateful she had such a warm, family-friendly, and play-based environment to help prepare her for kindergarten.

Meetu Aaji as we lovingly call her Aaji.. she has given me so much mental peace that is beyond words.. we started our son in a SO CALLED POPULAR/SUPER EXPENSIVE pre k school when he turned 2.. on day one teacher struck him just because he refused to sleep on cot.. and this is a true incident.. that made us shook as parents and my son was utterly traumatized.. then we started researching for home day care and learned about Meetujis daycare the moment I met them personally I knew my son will be safe and loved here.. we literally made a decision on same day about sending our son here.. its been a year now we are absolutely tension free and at ease.. Meetu aaji use to let my son sit in her laps for first few weeks just so he will settled down and within few weeks he started loving day care.. she is so loving.. he learned so much, he has become very socially interactive and confident.. he knows how to clean up.. academically he is really showing positive signs.. they have set playtime, activity time, eating hours, sleeping hours, it's really pretty well structured... I have zero regrets.. This was the best start he would have ever gotten for him.. We truly appreciate M

I could'nt be more satisfied with our decision to send out daughter to Meeta's Daycare. Our daughter felt like it was her second family, she made some close friends and it has felt effortless for us so far. Meeta's daycare also provides hot home cooked lunches everyday with pizza parties now and then and our daughter loves them. If we have more kids, we know where we will send them to! No brainer for us! 10/10 highly recommend!

I assumed it was something her new teachers say, but she quickly corrected me: "No, no, Andrea says hurry up!" She then went right back to playing, laughing and calling out, "hurry up hurry up!!" That moment alone speaks volumes about how much Andrea means to my daughter. She started at Happy daycare when she was just 1.5 years old. As a first-time mom, I cried on her first day, and Arti sat with me, gently reassuring me that we just needed to give her time to build trust. I can't express how much it meant knowing they understood this was her first time away from home. Within a week, the tears stopped. On her last day, I was the one still in tears because Andrea wouldn't be caring for my little girl anymore. Andrea is incredibly kind and patient. She cared for my daughter with so much warmth that even on weekends, my little one would ask to go see her and this happened more times than I can count. I never had to worry about food it was all taken care of at the daycare. During a medical emergency with my daughter, both Andrea and Arti stayed with her until I arrived, then remained by my side as we figured out the next steps. My daughter still misses Andrea to this day, and I know she will for a long time.

Run & Fun is one of those rare places that leaves a lasting mark on your family…read more We found Run & Fun through a recommendation from a mutual friend, and all three of our children started there at just six months old. Looking back, I feel incredibly fortunate that they did. Our eldest was born during COVID and spent the first six months of her life with very little interaction outside our immediate family. She has always been a sensitive child and naturally hesitant in unfamiliar environments, so I was especially nervous about leaving her somewhere new. But Erika and Carlos had an incredible way of making her feel safe from the very beginning. She connected with them almost immediately, and before long, Run & Fun had become her happy place. She loved going there so much that leaving at the end of the day was sometimes a full-on emotional event! She would cling to Erika's neck and cry because she didn't want to go home. That says more than any review ever could. She wasn't simply comfortable there. She felt loved, secure, and completely at home. And when our two younger children joined, they developed that same special bond with Erika and Carlos. What makes Run & Fun extraordinary is, above all, the people. Erika and Carlos are truly exceptional human beings. They are warm, patient, generous, and incredibly attentive, but most importantly, they have a natural gift for understanding and caring for children. The love they give isn't something you have to wonder about. You see it in the way the children run to them, trust them, and simply feel happy in their presence. They also put so much thought into every aspect of the children's day. Carlos prepared fresh, delicious food that my kids absolutely loved, and Erika made learning fun and engaging, introducing them to letters, numbers, and early learning in such a natural way. By the age of three, our eldest recognised all letters and numbers (in English and Spanish) and could write her own name. And they always came home with the sweetest little pieces of art and crafts. I still have a box full of them, and they are some of my favourite keepsakes from those years. When we moved away, I honestly cried. It was incredibly difficult to leave a place where I knew, without a shadow of a doubt, that my children were loved and cared for so deeply. As a parent, finding people you trust completely with your children is priceless, and saying goodbye to that was incredibly hard for me. Even though we've moved and all three of my children are now in school, Erika and Carlos are still such a meaningful part of their memories. They still talk about them and remember their time at Run & Fun so fondly. We haven't been back to the area yet, but they keep talking about wanting to see Erika and Carlos the next time we're in town. And one of the sweetest things is that Erika and Carlos still remember every birthday and they always call to wish my children a happy birthday. I cannot recommend Run & Fun highly enough. If you're looking for someone to care for your children, you aren't just choosing a daycare. You're choosing the people who will shape a meaningful part of their earliest years. We could not have asked for better people to be part of ours. I will always be grateful that our paths crossed with Erika and Carlos. Run & Fun will forever be a very special chapter in our family's story, and Erika and Carlos will always have a special place in our hearts.

I've been with the daycare for over 7yrs. I couldn't possibly cover all the ways I'm grateful for…read morethem so I'll list a handful. First, they are the embodiment of dependability. Even through the pandemic, they only closed down once when Carlos tested positive for Covid. Outside of that, they were able to stay open the whole time. They are super cautious when it comes to really infectious stuff like hand foot and mouth disease, but they won't be calling you because of a runny nose and a simple cough. In the end it's really just a handful of families they work with who all have similar attitudes and priorities and that makes a huge difference. They are not just watching the kids. Erika takes great pains to ensure there are engaging and enriching activities for these young ones every single day. They talk to them in both English and Spanish but they don't force it. Every child picks up as much or as little as they want and their preferences are acknowledged and nurtured. My oldest is a math and science guy while the younger one is more of an athlete and a performer and they both loved their time here. Every parent I've talked to has something to say about the food. It's healthy, it's homemade and magically, they can get all the kids to eat their vegetables. You can literally give your child a glass of milk for dinner and that would be enough calories for the day. Finally, I can't guarantee some results, but my oldest was actually reading by the time he left for Kindergarten. I know some of it is down to nature, but it still takes amazing nurturing to bring out such remarkable results. Oh I almost forgot, Run and Fun is the best value for money you can find in Silicon Valley, I guarantee it!!!
