Ended up with a nice front/back carrier from Japanese brand Mon Cheri which I love that the store owner helped me choose with expertise and knowledge to recommend what would be a great match for my needs. Not too bulky or heavy. Barking Babies carries a lot of fantastic luxury dog/pet carriers, there are some available to order in store too and they have all kinds of fashionable clothes, shoes, toys, beds, gourmet food and treats for dogs too! When I first came in I was still starting to socialize Soda and now Soda loves the store and gets along great with the 2-3 dogs who help run the store and it has been nice for Soda to visit with them. We have also gotten two beautiful soft rolled faux leather convertible hands free leashes, some Wag Wear rain boots for my dogs, Nono and Soda, a few toys, treats, Woof Dog Food and even a Lafufu plush toy for Soda, and my dogs are obsessed with everything we get from the store from the cute xmas gift snuffle box to her beloved Lafufu and even the Wag Wear shoes. Love going in to find unique and gorgeously vetted wonderful things for my dogs to enjoy and also let them practice socializing. Before purchasing, Nancy repeatedly insisted the harness was the correct size and reassured me four or five times that if it didn't fit, I could return it. At no point did she ever say that "return" meant store credit only. Trusting what I was told, I made the purchase. Two days later, I returned with the harness and leash completely unused, with tags and original packaging, because the harness did not fit my dog. Instead of honoring what I had been told, Nancy denied saying it and told me I should have read the receipt because it was "store credit only." The conversation quickly became very uncomfortable. Nancy raised her voice at me and repeatedly said she had rent to pay and that running a business was expensive. As a customer who had simply relied on what I was told before making a purchase, I found that completely inappropriate. There is a huge difference between saying "you can return it" and "you can return it for store credit only." Had I been told the full policy before paying, I would never have spent over $300 there After this happened, I read through the Google reviews and found another customer describing a very similar experience--they also believed they could return an item that didn't fit, only to later discover it was store credit only. Reading that review made me realize my experience wasn't unique.and this is her way of running the business I have no issue with a business having a store credit policy. My issue is with how it was communicated before the sale and how I was treated afterward. There are many other pet boutiques and online retailers with better prices, transparent policies, and customer service that continues after you've paid. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

I have taken him to daycare, boarding, daycare and train, Group Classes and Private classes and don't have a single complaint about any of my experiences. Good Dog Staff are very patient and kind and don't hesitate to go the extra mile when you have questions or concerns. I love that there are a variety of trainers with different approaches but they are all still very patient and positive. It's easy to get frustrated sometimes when training a high strung puppy with a short attention span but I never saw them lose their patience with either of us and they never minded staying a little bit late to address any concerns or questions I had :) I have done the Puppy and Adolescent classes so far and plan on taking them all eventually. I feel that the price is very reasonable considering the quality of training you receive. (High Quality IMO!) If I could do a private lesson every week, I would and it would be worth it! Ace and I have gained so much from the GD trainers and I can't thank them enough. During Daycare and train i received daily 'report cards' on Ace's progress and I always enjoy seeing the daily pictures that are posted on Facebook of all the dogs playing and enjoying each others company. I know that all of the staff is knowledgeable on pack interaction and that Ace is monitored to ensure he is playing appropriately (He sometimes mounts other dogs). They don't ignore problem behavior and they inform me of any concerns upon pick up each day. Last time he went for boarding they noticed he had a puncture on his face (I believe from one of my other dogs) and they went ahead and cleaned it and applied ointment which I SO appreciated. They also sent me an email to make sure I was aware (I had been but it had opened up during play and had been bleeding again) which I know not everyone would do!

Shaved her, even though I had a conversation with the owner Milena prior to grooming- Milena had told me that my puppy wouldn't be shaved because of the fact that she is too little and young and the fact that she just had her spay done. Yet my pup got shaved very short and blotchy - she is shaking till this day. CHLOE also cut her eye lash off and her ears are uneven!!! And when I called to complain they said I needed to come in for the refund- please note that the groomer CHLOE was not empathetic at this time and all she said was "I didn't see it" and when asked about her lashes she said "I thought it curled down". Still this is no excuse!!! So I went in for the refund and spoke with CHLOE face to face. She had the audacity to say "well, I was being sweared at" well, no shit, you made my first puppy bleed because of your fucking negligence, and kept saying that she had an rbf as well as a resting bitch tone........... I find this unacceptable. I posted on my Instagram and found out that CHLOE also did some other bad work on other pups and reacted the same way. They offered me to come back to get her groomed by the owner, but I'm too jaded to go back as my pup is already traumatized by that place. When I said my dog is traumatized and shivering, they offered me a little sweater for her, which was a nice gesture, but somehow this aggravated me even more, as if offering me free things would make this all better... It's infuriating, the fact that the groomer really didn't take ownership of what happened. Like, how could you or did you not know? Because CHLOE took less than 2 hrs to groom my pup. Had she taken her time, she could have avoided this whole thing. Maybe that's why the dog I saw on the way out did not want to go into this place.

My dog Bubbles is a 13 year old Shih Tzu/Maltese cross. His long time groomer relocated so I needed…read moresomewhere else to take him. Ayros was recommended and as it's close to my home I took him there. The first groom in October 2024 was fine, average at best. He went for a second groom on December 19, 2024, and he was severely injured. Bubbles was forcibly pushed into a wire cage next to the grooming table. The shop owner and groomer, Amaya, puts dogs in there when a customer comes into the shop. Amaya was too rough and aggressively pushed Bubbles into the cage and one nail on his front paw got caught in the wires. The nail was torn and there was a lot of blood. I was waiting to pick him up and appointment was taking much longer than was normal. I texted Amaya asking how much longer it would be. She replied "10 minutes", no mention of the injury. I was in my car waiting, and continued to wait. Finally I got a little worried and went into the shop. That's when Amaya told me Bubbles was injured and showed me his paw. His nail was sticking up in a very unnatural way. Amaya insisted that it must have happened before we arrived, and her protests that it did not happen in her shop were ridiculous. If my dog had that injury prior to the appointment I would have known. Furthermore, wouldn't Amaya have immediately noticed it and contacted me? The cage bottom was covered in blood! Amaya's refusal to accept responsibility was bad enough, but when I said I was taking him to the vet she told me not to do so. She said I should just put a cone on him so he couldn't lick or chew it. Amaya is completely unqualified to recommend treatment for an injured dog, especially someone else's dog. She was trying to minimize the injury and avoid liability. Sure enough, my vet told me Bubbles had a very painful injury and required emergency surgery to remove the nail. I had to take Bubbles to a 24/7 vet hospital because it was late. The veterinary surgeon concurred that it was a very painful injury that required surgery. Bubbles has a heart murmur so the surgery was risky. Fortunately he came through the surgery and after a week he seemed over the pain. But I listened to him cry in pain for 3 days and the pain meds didn't help much. He sounded like a newborn kitten crying and it broke my heart. He is my baby, I've had him since he was 6 weeks old. Amaya continued to insist that the injury occurred before I brought him in, but she immediately reimbursed me the $880 I paid for the surgery. For that reason I did not leave a bad review on Google. However, in the 6 weeks since Bubbles' injury I was asking other dog owners where they have their dogs groomed. I spoke to 5 dog owners who told me they also had bad experiences at Ayros. They said Amaya also denied responsibility and said the injuries their dogs had must have occurred before or after the grooming service. After hearing these experiences I decided to post a negative review on Google a few days ago. Amaya immediately responded to my review and denied responsibility for Bubbles' injury. She still insists that it happened before we got there. If she really believed that she would have refused to reimburse me. The fact that Amaya did not want me to take Bubbles to the vet also spoke volumes. I highly recommend you not to choose Ayros for your dog. If you do, be sure to check your dog for injuries before and after the service. Amaya is dishonest and disrespectful, and in my opinion she is also not qualified or professionally trained to be a dog groomer. I give 1 star because I can't give no stars.

The care Susan gave Molly my dog was exceptional. She was so patient with both Molly and me constantly worry texting! She went above and beyond to make sure I felt Molly was safe, happy and being well cared for. In contrast, I love everything about Tanya and her employees. They are kind and gentle with my very excitable dog, while offering training on pick-up to help him learn how to be calm when greeting people. They send photos of him with the other dogs, romping happily, sniffing, and just generally enjoying himself, which makes me feel at ease. I would happily recommend Pawz Unleashed to other dog lovers. Oh, and I live near Commercial Drive; although she's identified as a Coquitlam-based business, she is actually located in Easst Van, and just walks the dogs in Coquitlam (it's a great walk, too).

Alison takes a maximum of 5 dogs on the group walks, so Camilla has plenty of attention in a less overwhelming environment. Most importantly Camilla gets to run off-leash and explore the local parks! Alison typically takes Camilla (& now my other dog, Jasper) for several hours, despite the "one hour" price. Both of my dogs are high energy, so the off-leash adventure walks are a great way to physically and mentally tire them out. Alison leaves a note stating the time she picked up and dropped off the dogs, along with a little sentence about where they went. We've bumped into Alison at the dog park several times and the dogs are always beyond excited & happy to see her!! I know Alison truly cares about all the dogs in her pack - on what I thought was Camilla's last day with the group before I moved, Alison took Camilla for the ENITRE DAY!
