I was told this by one of the local pump jockeys, and have tested it several times. Other than that, good beer, wine, soda, and energy drink selection. Staff is always the same, and a couple of them know me by name. Considering that access is sometimes tricky due to traffic, this is a decent gas station. Another tip: If you aren't getting fuel, park in the lot just south of the store. At this time, it is the lot for a vacant building. Almost always empty, and easy access to NB McLoughlin and Main streets.

Then I was pulling into Fred Meyer and realized this location has a fuel station (because many don't). I later discovered that with my rewards points, I was able to fill my VERY empty tank for 30 cents less than the cheap location that I was planning to go to! That was such a great and relieving surprise. Also, the pump station at this location is set up for an easy and safe in and out. I have seen many set up with zero flow or that direct traffic so that when you are trying to get in or out you are blocking traffic or just driving straight into people.

See, after 9PM on most nights I've stopped in for a 6 pack, it's considerably after dark. That's kind of the way things work with most people, right? Apparently they had too many run-ins with punk kids stealing beer. Put bells on the door handles or something, don't pester the other 99% of your adult customers by having them carry around some key while they make their nachos and peruse the magazines... Yeah, you can take it back, but you see my point. Other than the key thing, this is just like any other 7-11 store. A lot of gas stations around here are slow, but I like this gas station because they don't leave you sitting out there for a minute before they pump your gas. Which I wouldn't care about, except that Oregon doesnt allow you to pump your own, so that makes it a big problem when the station attendants don't want to.

A few weeks ago they did some new hires so they were in training. The new hires were slow but still trying and very friendly. They always endeavor to be quick and pleasant. The convenience store is fully stocked and very clean. They even have a code red Mountain Dew. Which seems to be hard to find nowadays. They do have a deli type food station with hot dogs, corn dogs, Doritos, other Food, etc... The ability to reach the gas station from 205 is a little bit difficult because of the one-way lanes, but there is a roundabout to help out with that. There is a red barn carwash in the same lot as well as a Pacific pride gas station. There is a nice little hometown coffee place right next to the convenience store attached to the same building. Good service with whatever you need. Get your gas and your snacks and be on the road for wherever the road takes you!
