Shoo is extremely professional and always available. We are so thankful to have her close by. There have been multiple occasions when work travel has been booked for both myself and my husband and Shoo fit us in her schedule. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats and Shoo takes great care of them. She even sends us pictures when we're traveling as to keep us from worrying too much. We don't have kids and our pets are pretty much our children. Shoo is awesome. I found someone name her business when I went plundering the internet after newly moving to Vancouver, and after an in person meeting where she was extremely professional and reassuring of any of our concerns, we decided to have her watch our three cats. The cost is very reasonable. Of the three cats, one is a late senior and another is extremely skittish to strangers, and the senior needed to be kept to her own room apart from the others. Every morning on my trip, she would text me various pictures of all three cats, and they always looked very content, and even the skittish cat was clearly eating his meals even while she was there. Shoo is a lifesaver! Before we go out of town, we always check to make sure that she's available to take care of our cat; she does a great job with the kitty and texts us updates and photos while we're away. She's also a huge help with things like bringing in mail, caring for plants, and taking out the trash. We've sometimes had her come by to help with these things even when we're not traveling, just super busy. She always sends us updates when she's on her way over and again when the task is done. I I hired shoo to take care of my four Brussels Griffons for four days a week for about 3 months. Our agreement was three visits a day at least six hours apart. One morning she called me about 730 to say my oldest and smallest dog was having difficulty breathing and she wanted me to know. I had told her early on that the dog has congestive heart failure and if he has any problems at all breathing just pick him up and take him to my vet. When she called that am, i said to her please take him up to the vet. I was out of town would head home. She said "oh no I can't do that. I'm on my way to Camas!" She would not take my sick dog to the vet. I called Desiree my old dog sitter. She took my sick dog to the vet immediately. He looked pretty bad and was put on oxygen immediately upon arrival at vet. Had he not gone to vet immediately, my little old dog would be dead! A different dog needed medication three times a day. Shoo agreed and was paid for three visits daily at least six hours apart. Shoo did not give the medication as it was prescribed and as I instructed her. She was not truthful to me when she told me she was giving the medication at least six hours from the last dose. Shoo was told that giving the medication too close together could result in kidney failure for my little girl. Shoo was under stress because her father was ill and just placed on hospice care. I do feel compassion for her. We have all been completely overwhelmed at sometime in our in our lives She should have not have agreed to care for my canine family with so much going on in her personal life. Two of my four dogs were put in serious jeopardy because this pet sitter was irresponsible and frankly just didn't care about my dog's health. read more

Great pet sitter and I would definitely recommend her! She has been sitting for my elderly cat for a year now including when I was gone on a month long vacation. She sends regular updates and even pictures and my Patches is always happy and healthy when I get back home. We love Shoo! She takes great care of not only the pets, but the indoor and outdoor plants, the mail, the trash, and keeps an eye on the house in general while we're away.
