My sister called me crying showing me her nails that she got done for her anniversary at this establishment. She simply asked for white French Acrylic Tips and showed him a picture of how she wanted them done (Exhibit A). As she sat there, watching him fuck up (excuse my French) her nails, she realized he went far past the tip of the nail, creating the curve around the middle of her finger. She tried to give them a benefit of the doubt, blaming the lighting, yet when she got home and looked at the reference photo, comparing them to her nails, she realized it was far from the picture (Exhibit B). She also told me that the man who did her nails claimed he had been doing nails for 20 years, yet the work does not show. When booking an appointment here, I HIGHLY recommend the female workers rather than the male or will you be walking out in tears. read more

Ledo Nails does not use clean materials for mani/pedi. I left when the nail tech brought DIRTY/USED clippers and nail equipment in a washcloth from the table she was just at. Truly a distgusting experience. read more

Do not go here. My friends and I came here and did not have good experience at all. I had old acrylic on about 6 nails and needed it taken off. When I went in I asked for a soak off and when I got to the table she started prying my nails off without filing them down or soaking or anything. She kept trying to lift the acrylic up with a cuticle pusher and I would say ow or tell her it hurt and she basically just told me it would hurt. Eventually she started filing them down before pulling them off but it still hurt and I kept having to pulling my hand back so she would stop. After all that she didn't even try to buff my nails out or try and smooth them out. My friends experience was far worse than mine but after what I just sat through myself and what i watched her go through... I HIGHLY recommend you don't go there. Some times this place of business can do good work. I went in on June 3rd to get a manicure and a pedicure. I will not be going back again. I wish that I had gone some where else. The Asian lady that is half black worked on my pedicure. It was the worst pedicure that I had had in over a year ! The new white young lady did a fairly good job on my manicure, but not well enough for me to be impressed. I was not happy with my service. If you walk in and they are busy; please leave ! The staff is great here, I came in on a Sunday afternoon with a pleasant greeting from the man at the front desk. It was the usual conversation of when you first enter a nail salon "what are you getting today, pick out a color". I came to this location a bit skeptical because my usual location was closed and I had always drove past this one. I atmosphere was quiet and just what I needed to unload stress from the past week. My friend and I came here on Sunday because it was the only place that was open to get our nails done. She got a fill in and I got gel. I asked to just get a redo on my polish, but apparently she disregarded that, didn't ask me what I wanted later, and gave me a manicure that cost me $38. The edges didn't look good and I'm very unhappy with the way it looks. My friend got the fill in and the poor girl could barely hold a conversation with me because she got burnt so bad by the sander. Jennifer was very nasty to her and told her not to look because then she wouldn't feel it burn her. She said "it's just cause you're looking at it". Not to mention she kept getting up from the chair and it took my friend an hour and a half to et a fill in with one color! I will never go back there again. Wonderful service! Helen did an amazing job on my acrylic powder nails. I showed her the exact shape I wanted them and she made them exactly how I wanted. I was taken aback by the eccentric decorations. I made my way to the nail polishes and the selection was slim: containing very old looking bottles. The lady barely spoke English and hurt my nail beds very badly. Finally, as I approached the cash register, she said twenty six dollars!! I had a basic pedicure and that is an outrageous price! I had a horrible experience here. The woman doing my manicure cut me and continued to file and filed my real nail way to short and jagged. Then when she was applying the polish it was super sloppy. It was so bad that I asked her to take the polish off. They insisted that someone else paint my nails. My pedicure looked good from a distance but as I'm letting them dry I see how chunky the polish is. The nail tech came over many times and finally tried to repaint them. The only reason I paid and even gave this a 2 star review is because they were being nice. Beware! I got a mani/pedi there less than a week ago and just 24 hours later my feet and wrists started itching. I have a horrible, AWFUL rash on my feet and one of my wrists. My feet are the worst. It's DERMITITIS. I have never had this before!!! Small red bumps all over the top of my feet and wrist. I'm applying two different creams to keep it from getting worse. An antibiotic and hydrocortisone. Never, ever, ever will I go back to this place! Now I know why they had no customers on a Friday night! Ugh! read more

I have been here several times, and I have never been totally satisfied. EVERYTIME I have gotten a pedicure here, they have made my nail bleed in some way, either by cutting it to the quick or tearing out parts of the side. I once got a mani/pedi at the same time, so they had me stay in the pedicure chair while they did my manicure as well. That time, I asked for a gel, American manicure. The tips on all of my nails were different sizes, the whole manicure was slanted (since they did it with me in the pedicure chair), and they got gel on my fingers. So, when they stuck my hands in the uv to cure the gel, my fingers began to BURN since the gel was on my fingers. Even with all of this, I decided to come back again today, and I asked only for an american manicure. I already had clear/white nail polish on, and the lady did not remove it first thing, but i figured it was part of her technique. She finished caring for my nails and was about to apply the polish when I stopped her to ask if she was going to take off the nail polish that was already there. She looked confused and then asked me if it was gel on my nails, and it was not, just normal polish. She then stuck both my hands in a bowl of acetone and attempted to scrape of the nail polish with a cuticle tool. I told her it was just regular nail polish, but she insisted that this was how we would have to get off the nail polish. **FYI: Acetone is bad for your skin as it dries it out, and it is NEVER a good idea to soak both your hands in it. Sometimes nail technicians do have to soak your nails in acetone to remove things like acrylic or gel nails, but usually they dab a cotton ball in acetone and it is wrapped around your nail with a piece of tin foil to avoid harming your whole hand.** Anyways, she gets off the polish, and then proceeds to do the American manicure, but the "white" she uses is actually clear, and hardly looks like a natural nail tip. At this point, I gave up, and I told her to just paint the entire nail "white." I don't usually ever write bad reviews, but this place has constantly not lived up to expectations. I also think the people there are REALLY nice, but just not great with nails. read more

I have been here many times and at times I have been very happy and times I have not. The male's tend to cut you and make you bleed. They also smoke and have a bad odor. Yesterday took the cake. I walked in and they were very busy, but one lady in particular had the poor taste to bring a screaming child with her. She disrupted the whole salon, a place that is supposed to be like a spa. Nice and calm.. I could not even decide on a color for the screaming. Then she puts her down to run around. Children that young should not be allowed there, let alone breath the fumes. Upon arriving I was on a sensory overload with all of the colors. However, that didn't really matter. I didn't have too much trouble until the color gel I was getting was totally different than the nail they showed me. I mentioned it to the guy and he said "oh no, it will get darker with another layer." I trusted him and it did get slightly darker but still wasn't what I was hoping for. Whatever, I picked the wrong color. But then he said $35 for a gel manicure! What?!? I've gotten a pedicure and manicure at that price in Tallahassee. I'm a little ticked off at this point but oh well. I didn't do my research before hand. But THEN, no more than 24 hrs later, my gel CHIPS. Not just one nail, like literally 5 nails, all gone. I'm furious. The point of paying for a gel is so that it doesn't chip and lasts! I wanted so bad to march in there and demand my money back, but I unfortunately had to leave to visit family in another state for the holiday so I didn't have time. We're having family pictures done, which is the whole reason I paid the money to get my nails done (which I always do myself). Obviously a waste of time and money. The owner doesn't pay salary for some worker. He signed the check and called the bank and cancelled the check. He only wants money from customers. He doesn't care the quality of work.
