When I explained my situation to his assistant, Narissa, she quickly went and spoke with Dr. Weiss. Even though he had never seen me as a patient, he said that if I were able to come right in they would take care of me. I was so relieved because my regular chiropractor was more than 6 hours away in New York and the pain was worsening quickly. In the short time it took me to reach his office, I could barely walk. Both the doctor and his assistant were so kind and compassionate. I told Dr. Weiss what I had experienced that morning, as well as my past orthopedic history. He assessed my back and made the necessary adjustments for me. Had he not agreed to see me that day, I know I would not have been able to drive back to New York the following day. Frankly, I would not have been able to walk if I had gone another hour without treatment.

Unfortunately, my insurance only covers once a month visits, but being in chronic pain, I was willing to forgo other things and spend the extra money needed to get some relief. AND, when broken down, with the discount given when I paid upfront, it wasn't as expensive as other doctors charge. I'll admit, the first 3 months or so, I was definitely in pain after the adjustments. I could feel my spine was fighting the corrections. Eventually, due to Dr. Sam's persistence, it gave up the fight! He's a very caring, considerate, and compassionate person. You just need to be patient with the course of treatment, and you need to stick with the exercises on a regular basis.
