The only real negative I experienced were the ant beds all over the fields. You really have to pay attention to where you're walking or standing.

Coming from Atlanta on a Saturday morning, there was light traffic, and the address brought you directly to the free parking lot. The area has lots of foliage, so it's very shaded and a perfect spot for a summer hike or walk. There are several paths and markers, so you can change it up. My friend and I walked two different paths in 1 hour. In addition to the hiking trails, you also have a grass space with a few picnic tables, perfect for a quiet area to have lunch or meet with a group of friends.   Foot traffic was steady, and there were a few people walking solo however it's not something I would do since it's a forest area and not very crowded.

This place could not have been any more of a blessing. I had a good time in the park relaxing with my friend and eating sandwiches as the sun beamed brightly and the shade covered us cooly. I look forward to bringing my children back for some fun! There are two playground structures, a splashpad, lots of seating (benches & chairs) and a large green space. The complex also houses 3 food stall-esque food options (pizza, ice cream & BBQ) & a brewery. City Center Park shares a parking lot with the Fayette County library & Southside Center Church.
