The pool is kind of busy and there weren't enough chairs for everybody, but other than that, the pool is very clean and the lifeguards were present and attentive. Attentive. There is a walk-in pool that goes up to 3 and 1/2 ft, with a water slide. Larger pool that goes from 5 to 9 ft with a second water slide and a diving board. The only annoying thing was that the pool with the slide and diving board alternates every hour, so you can only swim in it every other hour. On the other hours, the diving board and slider open but you're not allowed in the pool to swim. It does kind of cut down the amount of time that an adult could actively swim if that's your thing. However, if you're going with kids, this is a great place. The pool and the surrounding area is well maintained and there's a lot to do for children.

Unfortunately, my experience changed due to a situation involving a spin instructor that deeply impacted my personal life. This situation made the gym feel uncomfortable and no longer like the safe space it once was for me and my family. What has been most disappointing is how everything was handled. I did not feel that my concerns were taken seriously, and ultimately I was the one who had to leave and cancel my membership after many years. I understand that personal situations can be complex, but when they affect members' comfort and trust, I believe they should be handled with greater care and accountability. Because of this experience, I would encourage others to carefully consider what kind of environment they're looking for when choosing a gym.

They also have an amazing indoor and outdoor pool. The outdoor pool is a DREAM in the summer- I could literally spend all day here. They have an outdoor and an indoor cafe that has high quality ingredients and food, truly making it so you could spend your whole day here. On top of the workout classes, expansive gym, pools that make you feel like you are no longer in Omaha- but somewhere more tropical they also have a great workspace if you are looking to make a meeting right after a workout. They have a clean, well maintained locker room that allows you to shower and get ready for your day here as well. Life Time is truly like my second home. Perfect day: yoga, steam room and sauna, cafe for a protein packed smoothie, get comfortable in their work space and get power through some projects, pool with a book and a slushie, shower off and go home. The membership fee is very reasonable and there is the opportunity to have that reduced if you help with some pre season maintenance. Perks are long season, ability to bring adult beverages, ideal pool temp, typically ample availability of chairs and limited concession stand. You can also bring up to 5 guests. Downside is we found the rules to be a little loose which was challenging- kind of a free for all near the diving board and slide, no rules about pushing, running, flipping off the sides, squirt guns, etc. with very young kids that may create some stress and there were a few times we were simply annoyed. We overall enjoyed the season and amenities that came with a private pool membership and plan to do it again next year.

We decided it would be fun to grab some pool noodles just to get a kick out of it. We were holding the noodles in the pool when a lifeguard came up to us and said "noodles aren't allowed in the pool". That made no sense to us because they literally have a shelf full of noodles and floaties out in the open for people to use. So we reluctantly gave them to her. So apparently you can't have rafts or noodles in the pool.

It is a very large area spanning from Blondo to the inner state with many different trails and paved paths. The reason I'm more of a 4 vs. a 5 is because paths aren't super clearly marked and it will change from paved, to wood chips, to gravel. A bonus if you need a place to hang with your pet is that they allow dogs!
