It had water, sun, etc. At same time I'd bought a different rhodie from another nursery & it was doing fine. Both were in same rain, temps & spot, & still in pots until I could plant them. I'm a seasoned gardener so was sad to see this plant loosing it! I sent Christianson's an email with pics & description of what was happening. I was able to go up there a week or so after contacting them. & they had a beautiful new replacement plant for me when I arrived! It's doing great! It was a blustery Saturday, so we popped by to check out their early spring offerings and were pleasantly surprised. The outside area was sparse, as is to be expected this time of year. Although, they were starting to get some herb and veggie starts accumulated (and I anticipate will be adding more as the weather gets warmer). Inside, I was more than pleasantly surprised to find they have a beautiful gift shop full of all sorts of wonderful, garden-adjacent things. Including an adorable selection of interesting pots, as well as lots of gorgeous indoor plants. They also had greeting cards, garden tools, knick knacks, and bric-a-brac. The lady who runs the place was amazingly friendly, too! She even introduced us to their resident cat, who was very friendly. (They actually have two cats, but one is older and not as outgoing.) Can't wait to stop back by here when gardening season is in full swing!

Their prices are worth the drive! I would suggest with all large nurseries like this, you call and make an appointment. They have way too much property and selection to just drop in. When I mentioned Wiggin's nursery to my landscaper, he said he would give Terry (the owner) a call and arrange the pick up. It's not a big box store, has concierge service, and mature plants so you get instant gratification! Next time we will take the dogs and spend the weekend in Bellingham and enjoy God's country up that way!

I would recommend sending them an email or giving them a call if you want to spend some time looking around. You will probably want them to give you a tour of the grounds and point you in the right direction to the various plants. You can't beat the prices here. We bought around 40 plants that would have cost at least three times what we would have paid at a retail nursery. Lastly, but probably the most important part of this review, the people working there are simply wonderful. You just couldn't ask for nicer or more knowledgeable employees. We were helped by Jess and Andrew, and they simply couldn't be nicer or more helpful than they were. If you need plants, go to Brandywine. You will not be disappointed and you'll get a great deal on some great plants.

This was my first time visiting the RoozenGaarde Tulip Festival, and by the time we left, I was…read morealready saying, "We need to come back next year." I've seen photos of the tulip fields before, but nothing prepared me for seeing them in person. The colors seem to go on forever, and there are so many different varieties of tulips. Everywhere you look feels like a postcard. Honestly, the pictures I took don't even come close to capturing how beautiful it is. A little tip for anyone visiting: wear garden boots or rain boots if there's been recent rain. The parking area is gravel, and some spots can get pretty muddy. Thankfully, there are plenty of porta-potties near the entrance before you head into the farm. The staff were so friendly and helped direct everyone where to go. As you walk toward the fields, you get a little preview of the tulips ahead, and I remember thinking, "Wow, this is beautiful." Then we got into the actual fields and realized that was just the beginning. There were so many great spots for photos. On the day we visited, the sky had those big fluffy white clouds, and the colorful fields reminded me of the Teletubbies landscape my son used to watch when he was little. It felt almost surreal. I also loved that this is clearly a family farm. There was food, a gift shop, and even a catalog where you can order bulbs to grow some of these beautiful flowers at home. The whole area has that small-town, community feel that just makes you slow down and enjoy where you are. Knowing that your visit helps support a local family farm makes it even better. And the mountain backdrop behind the tulip fields? Absolutely incredible. Every time I thought I'd found the prettiest view, I'd turn around and find another one. If you're thinking about going, do it. Just be sure to stay on the paths and help protect the flowers for everyone else. This was one of those places that left me smiling the whole drive home.

Staff were actively directing traffic for parking and foot traffic which made the arrival process surprisingly smooth given the turnout. It's clear the organizers put thought into the logistics. The flower variety was truly awesome! Sooo many stunning colors and blooms that you just don't see every day. If you're a photography lover then this place is a dream. Every corner was practically begging to be photographed. They did have concessions on-site, which was convenient but my one suggestion would be to bring in a couple of food carts or local vendors to mix things up. The options were pretty basic. Think hotdogs and the usual staples. A little more variety in the food department would really elevate the whole experience. Minor food note aside, it was a fantastic visit and a perfect way to spend a spring day.

Update August 23rd after waiting almost three weeks I got the exhaust vent only to open the box and find it damaged and bent. Come to find out these guys only DROP SHIP so they don't actually have the products and make sure they are good before shipping. Probably the worst online company I have ever dealt with. Again I would avoid these guys like the plague! RUN FOREST RUN!!!!!

MISTAKE. BIG MISTAKE. HUGE. Fast forward 8 months we finally decided turf would be the way to go. We brought in 3 separate turf companies to assess our situation and give us an estimate. Allen at Grassland was hands down the most professional and knowledgable explaining the different product samples, answering our deluge of questions and assuring us the best possible product and plan to defend against the dog! Although the quote wasn't the least expensive of the three - we had all the confidence that Grassland offered a quality product and top notch service. We weren't wrong! Although our job was delayed by a few weeks due to weather when the crew arrived I was totally impressed how thoroughly they cleared the yard of the dreaded wood chips and prepped for turf. I had several questions and even a few changes from the original bid and Darwin (the lead) and Edson (the supervisor) and Allen (by phone) listened to and adjusted the plan with every request! After each days' work the crew swept and cleaned up the yard and walkways leaving everything in tip top shape. We were blessed with a break in the rain on day 4 (they had prepped days 1-3 during wind and rain and just the grossest conditions but to lay the turf they needed a dry day to ensure the best install. I appreciated the attention to detail!) I was again, so impressed watching the crew carefully drive in the nails every few inches and create zippered seams for a flawless finish. They even agreed to dispose of the wood chips (that WE had originally said WE would remove) when we decided to add that service in the 11th hour. They were so accommodating and friendly and really aimed to please. I cannot say enough good things about Grassland's sales reps, supervisors and extremely hard workers. I agree with many of the reviews on here... we wish we would've gotten turf sooner! It looks absolutely beautiful. We are proud of our yard again and... so far so good with the dog! She loves it and hasn't tried to dig once! I think she appreciates it as much as we do. Thank you, Grassland!
