After reviewing local florists in Muskegon, Michigan, I called Lefleur and was impressed by the personal service, confirmation of availability of the flowers and vase I selected and assurance that delivery to the funeral home would be made in time for transport to the church. I ordered flowers for my Aunt's birthday. They were delivered this morning and she is absolutely thrilled. She sent me a photo of the flowers and they are gorgeous. Deb from Lefleur called me after the delivery because they did not have the exact vase or flowers that I requested but they got as close as they could. It was delivered on time and is roughly like the picture but it had fewer flowers than what is shown on the website and was poorly arranged. There was a lot of space between flowers. Looked like the quality you get at a grocery store floral stand. read more

I ordered flowers for both my mother and mother in law for Mother's Day. The flowers for my mom were delivered and completely as expected. However, the arrangement for my mother in law, was much smaller than expected and the flowers, which hadn't completely bloomed, are already beginning to die just two days after delivery. I have contacted the flower shop to let them know but have had no response. I will most likely not order from them again. read more

Our family had scheduled a memorial service for our Uncle at a local park on a Sunday. I called Deb (the owner) from my home in NJ to order a special arrangement for my aunt's visitation in Muskegon, MI which I would be attending two days later. It was a pleasure to speak with Deb, who seemed to understand the look I wanted, and we worked together to design a packed light blue hydrangea arrangement in a round bowl, with some white lillies in between. There were to be pussy willows if she could get them, and, if not, "twisty" willows would be included. To my disappointment, the arrangement had some blue hydrangeas and a few white lillies, but also included white spider mums (I never wanted those). Also disappointing was that one of the hydrangeas was wilted, right in the front of the bowl, and I arrived 2 minutes after the visitation opened (I assume the stem didn't make it into the water). There were no pussy willows (understandable) but the only other willow branches were just a few in the bowl. This did not look like it was worth the money paid and was not what we agreed upon. After I returned back to NJ after the funeral, I called Deb. She was appropriately appalled and apologetic, promising to follow up with her staff for changing the arrangement from the design notes and not filling the bowl with the willow branches, and she said she'd call the funeral home for not contacting her about the wilted flower so that they could replace it in time for the visitation. She offered and I accepted for her to send a (free) snack basket to my cousin at his home in Muskegon, and we set a date for that delivery for the next week. So, my only experience with this flower shop was a mixed bag. The arrangement was disappointing, but Deb was very customer-oriented and cared about what happened. She also did her best to compensate for the problems, which I appreciated. I would probably give them another chance if I needed a florist in the Muskegon area. read more

Recently I spent $140.00 for 2 Teleflora deluxe bouquets. When received, they were not even close to what was pictured on-line. These 2 bouquets could have been picked up for $40-50.00 at any chain store. One had the correct bowl, but about 1/3 the flowers. The other, instead of a white bowl and a cute snowman, came in a box with wrapping paper and also less the 1/3 the flowers. I was very embarrassed to see what was delivered for our yearly Christmas in my name. My guess, they didn't think I would drive 480 miles and see the much diminished product. read more
