From the start, they were very warm toward us, and they made it clear that they did not intend to only capture us from afar. Rather, they entered our lives as new friends, and the fun we had together naturally brought out our most photogenic moments. Like many photographers, they have an expert eye for all the elements that made a good picture: posing, lighting, backdrop, etc. But where they really stand out is their personality. Joe was able to untangle the tape and convert it to a CD. I shared the CD with my partners we are all in out sixties and we mad the tape when we were 14. She's an LBI local who's very familiar with the best spots to capture photographs. She's super personable and easy to get along with, which makes for a relaxing photo session. Our family photo shoots involve 6 adults and 3 kids and she captures everyone along with smaller groups (like grandparents with the grandkids or individual families). She is patient and understanding and knows how crazy it can be when kids get tired or rambunctious. She can do multiple locations for photo shoots - just recently we did the beach for some pics and then headed to Sunset Park to use as another location. In years past we used the lighthouse. When we were planning our wedding, I knew that photography was important, but I had no idea that…read morethe photographer was just as important as the images they would create. You will probably spend more time with this person than any other vendor, and I am so glad we had the opportunity to get to know Lindsay. She was able to capture our experience of the wedding, as well as, all the wonderful moments we missed. We now have all the beautiful photos of the ceremony, formals and first dance, but also a priceless record of all of our friends and family who attended. She was able to do this because not only could she magically "disappear" when needed (she must have teleported around the ceremony), but is also very intuitive and can capture people's personalities. She was able to capture ours because we were incredibly comfortable around her. We got a vendor crush during the engagement session and liked her more and more. Lindsay is also great because she takes the photos that you want. She doesn't push you to take photos that are posed and cheesy, but knows better than you might (or I did) that some of the photos you don't think are important she will secretly snap.
