The owner for months fed me story about rain and being backed up but could never give me an appt date. After months of trying to get an appt I asked for a refund and was told they don't get paid until the voucher is redeemed. I will b contacting living social to see what they can do to assist with getting a refund or getting the company to come cut my yard. I have been more than patient. I haven't even heard anything from them.

Interesting that the owner wrote this... "We Strive to service your property on time when we say we will. If for some reason (weather, sickness, or mechanical issues) we can not make it the day we stated, we will notify you and let you know when we will be there. We will not leave you wondering.. I want to give a review for Sarros Landscaping. Phil and his team totally transformed my current…read moreyard into the dream yard we didn't even know was possible. First, we had a nice backyard, but we had a yard that sloped to the house that never grew grass very well and always suffered with some drainage issues. Phil recommended and put in a paver potio that included great looking stones, firepit and pergola to give it character and style. I cannot say how much we love this patio. We cook down there with our grills/smokers, we have weekend fires in the fire pit for s'mores and cooking, and we love to just sit and relax as we hear the birds and watch the kids play on this transformed area. Second, we bought the house for the yard in the past for the trees and adventure, but our kids wanted grass to run/play. This is where Phil recommended putting in a retaining wall and leveling or backyard (with appropriate grade for drainage) to put a beautiful grass filled yard. This involved lots of prep, grading, tree removal and planning but the results are amazing. Phil not only put in zoysia grass and planned plants, replants, and beds all around my house, but had the new sprinkler systems put in to help water the investment. Phil also put grass all around the house and even put in yard lights (which I have always wanted) to shine on the house and tree canopy's which makes things look so great at night. Phil even helped me put in a tree swing between two trees since we had to take out a dying tree that we previously had a swing on. Third, and most importantly, Phil is great to work with... I am an engineer so I am detailed and I want to discuss things regularly. Phil ALWAYS had the time to talk, plan, and make sure that we were lock step in what we were doing with the yard and what the expectations were from both parties. Lastly, when the job is completed, Phil doesn't go away. He still welcomes calls to check on things, come look at the job and make sure things look right, and give advice on anything that his team has helped put in. When you invest in something that matters you want to give it to a person who is going to care about your investment as well and that is what Phil does. I have a high standard of how I want things to look when they are done at my house. Many times I do these things on my own because I can do it well. I have also learned to hire people who are qualified to do excellent work because I know I won't regret it for the years to come when I look at that investment over the years. Investing with Sarros Landscaping was a no brainer. We love our house, our yard, our new way of living, and I can't wait for the years to comes being out there and enjoying the outdoors.

Bruce showed up within two hours of my call, gave me a very reasonable quote, and said he could call me Monday with a time his crew could come out and do the job. I received a call from Sabrina who said that the crew had finished another job early and if it was alright to show up before lunch. The crew arrived and Bruce started working while his was eating their lunch. Long story short, they were done and gone with 2 hours of arrival and the trees were removed and the area cleared of storm debris. Very reasonable and efficient.
