Wishing negative stars were an option. I would never ever recommend Jenkins to anyone or put trust…read morein them. First things first, albeit should be obvious, please be sure to read any contract with a lawyer or someone who understands contracts. If you are stressed and displaced from your home, don't rush to sign anything. Take your time. Find someone who really cares. It will be worth your time, money and sanity in the end. Do not let insurance companies "recommend" a company to you, especially Jenkins. My parents are seniors and have been displaced from their home for almost a year now due to a pipe that burst and flooded their entire home when they were out of town. Unfortunately, during this high stress time, their insurance company suggested a company to help get the water out, assess the damage and restore. Enter Jenkins. My parents were so eager for help, that they signed a contract with them right away, which is completely their bad, but they are of a certain age, not tech savvy and they trust people way too easy. All they could think about was their home and things sitting in water, they felt helpless. Once the water began to dry, and us kids were able to wrap our heads around what was happening and begin to help them deal, we decided to do some updating to the house since it was in shambles anyway. Why restore it back to the 90's when we can do minor cosmetic upgrades and accomplish a much more fresh home and increase the value for them. We realized there was no getting my parents out of their contract with Jenkins, so we met with a contractor there to see how/what we could accomplish. The ask was nothing crazy - new floors, remove old wallpaper, demo old built-ins, layout the kitchen in a more open way, patch and paint etc. zero structural changes or wall removals. We brought in an extremely talented interior designer to help with colors and finishes. Why not?! My parents deserve it! Given how confident Jenkins seemed in our initial meeting, although lacking in sophistication, we thought we were in good hands with the contractors and we had a plan to move forward. Unfortunately, it became clear very quickly that our project scope was out of their league, and the drama ensued. After more than 6 months, of dealing with Jenkins and their dodgy work practices, all we ended up with were the new floors installed (incorrectly BTW), and one coat of cheap paint on all the walls. Nothing else. Jenkins walked away with all of their (my parent's) money and we have been left fixing their mistakes and pushing forward with a new contractor to get our parents back into their house. As soon as Jenkins "handed off" our project, that same day we moved on with our new contractor. Working with our new contractor has been like night and day in comparison to Jenkins. For example, Jenkins, at the most, would have two, maybe three guys working once a week, maybe. Meanwhile our current contractor has eight guys multiple times a week, and they are accomplishing such great work at a very speedy rate. We have much more insight into how much we were being taken advantage of by Jenkins and it is truly infuriating. Finally, our project is days away from being complete and we cannot wait to show our parents their beautifully updated home. Hopefully, the stress of this past year will fade and we can forget Jenkins was ever part of it. I can only imagine their response to this review. Mark my words, it would be ego based, excuse after excuse, zero accountability taken, and somehow everything would be our fault. Yeah right. We are beyond relieved that they are out of our lives, it could not have happened soon enough.

Just got home after having Stanley Steamers come out to my home to service air ducts…read more They ripped off vents carelessly and left ceilings damaged, (at my cost to fix), they destroyed the existing alarm system (at my cost to fix), cut a hole into my home that was "by accident" and then puttied back together hodgepodge style. They came unprepared and rather than say they lacked the correct tools to get the job done they continued to destroy my home, leave a mess in their wake and walk out with stuff hanging out if vents, debris on the floor and a single picture from an iPad that showed limited visual of actual work claimed to be conducted. My next level of escalation is to let Costco know of the service we received today since they are advertising their work on site. If you don't want damage to your home, more out of cost expenses and poor service then Stanley steamers is the place to avoid Can't even get a rep to call back with a resolution or for them to stand by their employees work to make the situation right.

Plus, they use chemicals that are pet friendly. 100 % will be calling him back for other items that need to be cleaned. THANK YOU, KESHAWN! You're awesome.

The remodel took over six weeks, and during that time we were displaced from our bedroom and had to move into a spare room upstairs. Recently, I noticed the caulk around the bathtub seal was coming up. It took more than two weeks for someone to come out, and the repair itself took only about five minutes. Instead of handling it as a courtesy, I was told the work had been installed in January 2024, the warranty was only for two years, and I was a few months outside the warranty period, so technically I should be charged got a $150 service call. While he were here, one of the toilets they had installed also needed a very minor adjustment inside the tank. Again, I was told I was just outside the warranty period and would have to pay over $150 for a service call for what was essentially a two-minute fix. I understand that labor is not free, and I respect that service companies have to charge for their time. However, after spending nearly $40,000 with this company, I expected at least a little courtesy and goodwill for such small, quick adjustments. Instead, I was met with a rude attitude and a complete unwillingness to help unless I paid another service charge. My biggest issue is not just the warranty cutoff. It is the lack of professionalism, courtesy, and customer care after we spent so much money with them. The experience felt very transactional: take the money, then refuse to stand behind the work in any reasonable way once the big project was done. Based on our experience, I would not use this company again, and I would strongly encourage others to be cautious. Get every warranty term in writing, keep all documentation, and be prepared for them to request proof and charge service fees even for very minor issues. Or just avoid them all together and don't do business with them. Buyer beware.
