First, I'd like to say that my experience was OK. I originally did a roof with rhino for my family in San Antonio. I do not live there, but I needed a repaired done on my house over there so I contacted the same person and he was very gracious. His name is Levi and I got everything set up. I made the deposit but I wasn't sure date of install, but I was kept up-to-date. My issue comes with the final payment timeline and speed of which they charge late This company expects payment as soon as the project is finished and will charge you a late fee if it goes over 48 hours. The fee is $150 if your balance is under $1500 or to 4% if it is over $1500. My balance for the repair was $950 approximately and they were charge me $150 late fee. The account manager I spoke with was pretty persistent that they were not gonna waive the fee but I did persist further and they finally reversed it. My only suggestion is if you're do roofing with this company, make sure to read the fine print as I missed the mandatory payment right away and if you need a day or two to get all your money together(IDidNot), you better wait until you have it before the roof starts or else you may get late . I've learned a lesson about doing the business remotely when I'm not in town .... in general, I have nothing bad to say about Rhino Roofers....They were professional until I got to payment management. this is just my opinion sure they have theirs. read more

We have been remodeling our entire house, and if you are doing the same, you know how difficult it is to work with contractors. You don't know what you're getting, some technicians don't have the best social skills, and you're always worried that they're telling you some gobbledygook to get you to spend more money. Of all the different renovations we've done--plumbing, electric, etc.--we have never felt in safer hands than with Rhino Roofers. The turnaround time was quick. Once we settled on a roof color and style (there are many) we had a 1.5 week lead time before they were going to come and install the roof. On roofing day, the crew was at the house at a prompt 7AM. The men worked like a NASCAR pit crew and had tarps out to catch all the asphalt crumbling off of our old roof. I have never seen roofers do this before but it was much appreciated to keep asphalt out of our grass and sidewalk. The old roof was off by noon and the new roof was on by 3PM. They didn't even take a full day to do this job! The roof looks perfect. Not a shingle looks out of place. There is an attention to detail that makes our roof satisfying to look at every time I pull into the driveway. We are in love with our new roof and the ease of this process. I found Rhino roofers by an internet search. They did not solicit my business in any way. Tatiana and her crew were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Initially, I reviewed with the on-site supervisor, and he didn't know the complete drip edge replacement was added to the estimate. He thought it was only in spots damaged. He spoke to Tatiana and called the guys to pick up the new 2-inch drip edge to bring it up to code and more shingles. Frank's repair and remodeling had damaged the drip edge all around my home when his team replaced the facia. That wasn't a big deal because I learned it should be removed to replace the facia anyway. One roofer I did not hire said most companies probably don't want to say you would need a roofer when replacing facia. Rhino did not just need to replace the damaged shingles on sections of the drip edge but all the shingles on the drip edge when replacing it. I hope to share with all homeowners so that they know the process. The team had tied rags around the ladder so as not to damage the new paint job. I was going to rent scaffolding, but it required an account application that takes weeks. Scaffolding can be delivered on the same day. Rhino promised to paint again if they damaged the paint, but they didn't need to at all. They finally agreed with me in action--an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Later, the head guy said we got the feet to go over onto the roof from Home Depot--my favorite solution; but I forgot, since companies that don't have it, usually don't want to buy it. They even tacked down the drip edge when I showed them a before and after photo at the peak of the house. See photos. Homeowners, hire a roofer to come the next day after any facia replacement or get a roofer to do the entire job. They sealed exposed nails with silicon and, inadvertently, added diverters that I didn't need They were in an inspection report, but, since I will be re-installing gutters, they are not needed, except at the hvac outside for now. They repaired flashing the carpenter damaged while replacing the facia earlier this month. One Rhino Roof worker admitted he broke a welcome statue--my favorite irreplaceable statue after I found it. I didn't know they needed to go on the porch since they required everything taken off the driveway, and I asked if anything else should be moved. Homeowners, it is.bedt to just remove everything. In 5 years or so, I know who to call to replace my roof, not Ghostbusters, but Rhino. read more

I want to take the time to Thank Christian L. and Gus from Rhino for making our experience such a smooth and pleasant one from the moment Christian came to our home he was very informative and even overed to get on our roof to cover a few spots with tarps for the few days of rain we were going to be having while "we made our decision". He didn't have to do that at all but as he went our of his way to do that for us we stopped him before he left and said "Let's do it" and Gus worked with the dates we needed and everything was done in less than a day including dropping off the materials. Rhino redid a large section of the roof so well that I would "Highly Recommend" Rhino Roofers to anyone! Cody, Andrew and the rest of the Rhino Roofers team was amazing to work with literally since the first day! Communication was great and scheduling was a breeze, but I was most impressed with the roofing crew on the day of the job. I'm from a construction background and was suuuuper impressed when the crew rolled up at 6am on the dot and immediately got to business!! My sales rep Cody and Andrew the project manager were on site communicating with me immediately which was fantastic. Even with a 2 hour rain delay the job and cleanup was done by the end of the day. On that note, I have to mention that when Andrew told me they might get delayed a bit for rain he also took the time to explain the steps they had taken to protect my home if/when it did rain. First, they did the roof in sections so that as little as possible would be left exposed to open air at any given time. Next, they kept tarps at the ready to roll down the roof and cover the section they were on if rain started. A plan that was flawlessly executed I might add!!! And finally I need to praise their cleanup around my house once they finished. First they put tarps up around the perimeter of the house for the duration of the job and the tarps literally caught everything that would otherwise end up in my yard. After they removed the tarps at the end the whole crew did multiple sweeps around my house with magnets to make sure it's safe for my kids! 10/10 would use Rhino Roofers again!!!! read more

After purchasing a new home we needed a roof. Looked at 4 different roofers and had Christian from Rhino Roofers give us a bid. He was patient as we waited to close on home and then waited to get other bids. He continued to follow up with me on how the bids were going and if I had any questions. After going with the lower price bid by a bit I informed him that we would go with another company. He did not pressure but asked what we were getting with that company and warranty. For the small amount I was going to save we were not going to get the warranty or correct ridge shingle to match. He gave great points and we chose to go with them. The process after that was flawless and zero worries. Andrew was in charge at the job site once the job started and continued to send me picture updates of what he saw and progress of roof. They stripped and threw up a new roof using duration shingles in one day. The yard was left clean as if there had never been a roof torn off. Andrew continue to follow up after to make sure the roof was to my liking. This was a big relief while trying to move into our new home.
