At the beginning of the summer I bought a Groupon for the kickboxing classes. I was definitely a little nervous the first day because I had never tried kickboxing before and I don't play any sports or see myself as "athletic". This was the perfect way to be introduced to kickboxing with supportive and knowledgeable instructors, upbeat classmates, and a low-key environment. The classes are set up so you can go at your own pace, but it is still challenging. After every class I had so much energy even though my muscles were crazy sore the next day. Definitely one of the only times I've ever really enjoyed exercise. The class was very diverse with different ages and skill level, so I never felt intimidated or awkward, but the more experienced boxers would voluntarily help the beginners too, like they genuinely cared about my workout. I'm a little sad that I'm moving and can't take this place with me! I also got to see some of the martial arts classes for all ages. This place clearly has a family-friendly environment and I highly recommend giving any of their classes a try. If I was staying in the area, I would pay whatever price to keep attending kickboxing and would even consider trying martial arts, which I never thought I'd say. read more

I recently moved from a smaller area, about two and a half hours north. I trained at a small studio, with a small town feel. I was nervous about moving to a larger area, with a studio that had an increased amount of members, and an increased amount of advanced ranks. I thought I would be lost in the shuffle, and perhaps even intimidated. However, I am happy to report that my fears were just that- only fears. Ever since setting foot into Legacy Martial Arts, I was welcomed with open arms by not only the owners, but also the other students. If I miss a class due to unforeseen circumstances, Master S is always sure to check in and make sure that all is running smoothly; while the other students let me know that my absence did not go unnoticed This studio is a large family atmosphere, yet still provides superior instruction and technical skills. Whenever I have a question or need assistance, one of the instructors is always willing to lend a hand. Support is extremely easy to find here, and the positive attitudes are contagious! This studio definitely provides top notch instruction, as well as character building skills. I will continue to recommend Master and Mrs. S for the exceptional job they do! read more

This school is wonderful. KMAI also known as Legacy Martial Arts recently a wonderful place. Master S & his wife Mrs. Anna Setyanto recently purchased the school. It has always been a great place, however since they acquired the school it is even better than before. Their energy, passion and professionalism of not only running the school but pride of following their dreams is beyond words. You should come in & try it out.
