I recently took my son to Legacy Emergency in Silverton, Ore. He went in to see the doctor (Jesse Bohrer-Clancy) alone. We took him in for extreme stomach pain. After leaving the hospital he told me that the doctor wasn't very kind. He said the doctor 'seemed' a bit arrogant, wasn't too interested in hearing feelings/thoughts, told him to lay down and, evidently, my son was taking too long so the doctor verbally pushed him, saying 'come on! let's go!" (like my son was taking up his time). This made my son feel uneasy and nervous. I tried to find a patient feedback form online but the hospital only sometimes sends out feedback forms. Absolutely worst experience I have ever had at a doctor's office. The receptionist up front I first spoke with was awesome, but that's about the only good thing I have to say about this group. Dr Julian Uselman was horrible to me. He was rude, not interested in the least about what I had to say. Ran in and out of the room I was in, barely visiting for a few minutes each time. Finally asked him to please listen to what I'm saying. Told him I was having massive pain in my shoulder, and needed it looked at. He literally said, "No. That is not what you are here for today. You will need to schedule another appointment." What?? I told him I told the nurse that came in the room, that I needed my shoulder looked at, but you never came in to talk to me about it. Again repeated I was in a lot of pain, to please help. He again said, "that's not what you're here for. You need to schedule another appointment." I asked how far out that would be, and he said mid July, which was almost a month away. I asked, "are you refusing to look at my shoulder, he said yes." We had a small argument at that point, and I told him he was fired as my doctor. As I was leaving, I checked at the front desk to see if I owed them anything for today's visit, and the most awful receptionist, who had obviously been told something by the doctor, once again treated me horribly. I have most of this on voice recordings, so there is proof. After I told her I was recording, because I had never been treated like this by anyone, she immediately shut down, and wouldn't say a lot after that, of course. It was appalling the way I was treated. Ended up having to go to an urgent care facility, where they determined I had a torn rotator cuff, and would need surgery to repair. If they had just looked at my shoulder, none of this would have happened. Worst place ever. If you go here, make sure to get someone other than Uselman, and good luck getting care. read more
