In April 2025 I had C & N Concrete re-surface my stamped concrete patio. I wanted the patio…read morere-stained; but what I got was painted concrete. The original stamped concrete looked like flagstone; with colorations that looked like real stone. When Dave showed me the sample colors and I expressed my doubts that it didn't look like stain to me; he assured me that after the finishing coat, the patio would look like stained concrete flagstone. When they finished the job & I wasn't completely convinced that this was the look I wanted; Dave again said that after a few days; it would "settle" into the flagstone look. It did not. And as the months have gone on; it still just looks like painted concrete. Two of my neighbors even said that it looks like "mud"; I can't disagree. I'm very disappointed that I just have to live with this and wonder how long before I can have someone else re-do it (at another expense that I can't afford). I'm just not sure how our communication went so wrong; their website shows stained concrete flagstone & that's the look I was after. On the plus side -- the team always showed up on time, completed the work as stated, cleaned up everyday, and were polite and pleasant.

Fritts Roofing may do a great job with composite shingle roofs and commercial roofs, but from my…read morepersonal experience, residential Spanish tile roofs are not Fritts' forte! I'm going to try to keep this as objective as possible... The ordeal with Fritt's Roofing began when the owner, Joe, told us a permit for our roofing project wasn't needed while the City of Oxnard said one was needed. It was one bad thing after another from then until the end. The entire project was handled very unprofessionally, and I feel as though we and our home were disrespected: (1) Fritts Roofing caused a lot of stucco damage to the house and a lot of damage to a small tower that is a key focal point of the home. It cost us close to $2000 to have the damage repaired. Fritts attempted to camouflage some of the damage by slapping a coat of paint over it. (2) Roofing tiles were misaligned and had to be redone (thankfully, we caught it and brought it to Joe's attention before the entire roof had been completed). Tiles were laid just barely touching at the vertical edges rather than overlapping. This would have caused drainage issues and, eventually, major water damage to our roof. (3) Workers often stomped around on a portions of the roof that were nowhere near the job they were doing. As even non-professionals know, this is not good for a roof. (4) Workers repeatedly trampled through flower beds, smashing plants in the process, rather than using walkways that surround all of the planted areas. (5) Tools, equipment, and supplies were placed in planted areas (causing more damage to the garden) rather than on the concrete driveway just inches away. The list goes on! If I had to choose between another experience with Fritts Roofing and a leaky roof, I'd choose the leaky roof. There's a good chance the owner will reply to this and lamblast me for my honest opinions. Just keep in mind that I have nothing to gain by posting this. In the words of Amy Grant: "You've got to know who to, who not to listen to. You know they're gonna hit you from all sides; better make up your mind who to, who not to listen to."
