I'm responding to Toni. You responded apologizing, YET instead made it clear you had not made a "mistake". Ok maybe the proper term would be, you didn't "do what you stated you would". Yes the paperwork was correct, yet you didn't follow through with the process. Yes I contacted you 5 months after my Dad passed away. We had gone to you 5 months previous (Dec 2017) to make SURE HIS AFFAIRS/PROPERTY/TRUST WAS IN ORDER. They had given him a month the live at that point. We left your office that day and were told you would go down the following Monday (Dec 11 2017) and file papers for trust with court. You never did go. Now, the fact I contacted you 5 months later has nothing do with with your mistake. I put off dealing with the sale at the time, because my Dad had just died and I had to clear out his personally belongings/furniture etc. I was planning a funeral & services and everything that went with that. If anyone has lost a parent, its not easy. I am the only child, since my sister has passed as well. It was a heartbreaking time and it was ALL on my shoulders. I'm a single Mom, also working full time. When I did go to sell, my realtor told me in fact, the property was not part of trust. This should of been DONE, had you done what you said you would. I should have been able to list property immediately. We trusted you. The property would of been for sale In Sept/Oct 2018, when I contacted you. Instead you told me you had accidentally stored my Dads paperwork in a storage, during a office move in Jan. You told me when YOU realized your error, you went down to file them immediately (it was May 2018 by then). You never once contacted me to let me know this had happened. You figured you would file the papers and I wouldn't know? My father passed in April 2018 ( a month before). So for you to come on yelp and blame me for contacting you late, is appalling. We paid you for a service in Dec 2017 that wasn't completed until May 2018 (5 months later). My next issue, yes you paid for the "Heggstad Petition without charge, as a quick way to confirm the property as a Trust asset". You offered to pay to rectify the mistake, so lets be clear WHY you paid. This was not quick and I had to go to court to get the transfer, because it was after my Dad was gone. The earliest court date you told me you could get was Dec 26th. You mentioned I was on a family vacation? I told you i would be gone a Thur-Mon (early Dec). You explained there wasn't ANY court dates till the end of December, soonest anyway! So again, not quite sure why you said it could of been resolved sooner is beyond me? Meanwhile, mortgage and HOA had to be continued to be paid, Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, until I could sell (property is barely selling now-April). I did tell you in the office, in person, I needed to sell. I went to court Dec 26, 2018, you called me Dec 27 and said "I will go down and file those papers on Monday". I took your word. This isn't a fabrication, I have the texts we exchanged from that day. Fast forward to Jan 24, 2019. The title company was telling me they still didn't see property under trust. I texted you that day, A MONTH LATER, I got a response 90 min later. You said you JUST WENT AND RECORDED IT YOURSELF because your court runner was back logged during holidays and never took it. You text a copy of the document timestamped recorded doc, from that day. I guess that is what prompted me to update my review today. I would of thought after the initial "mistake" or however you would like to word it, I would of been more of a priority? You gave me your word TWICE and didn't do what you said you would. That to me is a big issue. The other thing is. You came on here trying to say it was somehow my fault for waiting 5 months?? NO, I was grieving and whether I waited 2 months or 12, when that 12 or 5 or whatever was up, IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE when I was ready. We paid your for a service because my Dad did not want me to have to go to court when he passed away. Instead I had to wait form Sept to Jan to even be able to list the property. In fact, here we are April, its finally going through escrow. I was not able to list it in Sept 2018 because it wasn't in my name. I paid mortgage/HOA there AS WELL AS my Rent at my own home. So yes it was a financial hardship. As a single mother, as you know, its hard enough supporting one household let alone two You and I both know what transpired. The apology would of been sufficient, its the part where you try to blame me is where you went wrong. You were paid to do a service, you forgot to file papers you said you would. THEN you did it a 2nd time a year later! I gave you the benefit of the doubt the first time, but 2 times is too much. I don't recommend your services if its anything complicated. Fair is fair, at least own up to your mistake, I would of respected that more. That's all I have to say. Thank you. read more

I hired Toni back in June 2017 with the intentions of a mutual divorce settlement with my ex. As emotions sometimes heighten, the other party decided to change his mind and go to court. Toni filled out the mutual agreement first then I told her about the backing out. So she filed the papers for court. Then the ex wanted to agree again, then court again...Toni held it with grace and professionalism throughout.
