We understand this is not usually something you deal with on a regular basis. Everyone was extremely helpful with an issue that was out of the norm! Appreciate all of you!

Because I was getting ready to retire, we thought it best to purchase these warranty products, to the tune of almost $7000 - front to back, top to bottom was the impression we got. 2 weeks ago I scheduled an appt to get new tires, as recommended at the last oil change. I was told someone would call me to find out what tire/pricing I was interested in. I told that person I had this Tire-Wheel-Dent coverage and she said ok, and that I should receive that call soon. No one called, so this past Monday, I called and the lady I spoke with said she was the one that did that and didn't know anything about me ordering tires. I, again, informed her of our coverage and she even took my VIN to confirm said coverage. Spoke with a gentleman to get the correct tires ordered and be ready for the appt on Friday (today). They get the work done and we go to pick up the vehicle and they tell me I owe them $950. I said no, I have this coverage and showed them the contract that we signed for it. Oh. Sorry ma'am. That's only for road hazard issues on tires that cannot be fixed. Then you can use that coverage. Needless to say, I was extremely upset, as I had talked to 2 different people at that dealership about having this coverage. They called the finance manager at the west store to confirm our conversation that we had with him over 2 years ago. ??? Of course, they didn't confirm or deny that conversation. They wouldn't budge, wouldn't give up a dime on my bill, all they could say was Sorry, we'll be sure to explain that coverage better to the next guy that decides to buy it. I will not buy another vehicle from Don Hattan, as they don't really seem to give a hoot about what their customers are told/not told about that insurance/warranty program.

In May of '25 my entire engine had to be replaced. I then had to have my radio replaced December of '25. CARMAX was not willing to make this situation right. Offered to purchase the vehicle back from me for 3K less than the original asking price and of course did not offer to take care of all the additional fees (7K worth).

Time was incredibly limited as I had to report to my next base shortly after arriving stateside. I stayed in constant communication with CarMax, and they had clear notes in their system to hold the vehicle for a few days until I could finalize the purchase. Despite weeks of planning and coordination from overseas with banks, insurance companies and CarMax, I received a call on the day of the sale from the sales representative at CarMax informing me that the vehicle had been sold or shipped to another location. This was a vehicle I had carefully selected, and CarMax was fully aware of my situation and timeline. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I relied on CarMax to honor their commitment, and they completely failed me during an already stressful and time-sensitive period. This experience has been an absolute letdown, and I will never recommend or purchase from CarMax again. For a company that prides itself on customer service and transparency, they dropped the ball in the worst way possible. If you're a service member or someone on a tight timeline, I'd advise looking elsewhere to avoid a similar experience.

Our negotiation would hardly even qualify as that because the GM, our salesman, and the finance manager were upfront, honest, and problem solving for us the moment we ran into roadblocks. As a business owner, we have purchased at least 10cars at another dealership over the past 25 years, so we ended up at Eddie's due to an acquaintance and our son's recommendation. I didn't intend to stay--it was a courtesy visit. Their absolute integrity, genuine care for our best needs was absolutely remarkable. They gave us more care than we deserved and I will never forget how valued they made me feel.

Updating my review. DO NOT SHOP FOR A CAR HERE OR ANY EDDYS AT ALL UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SCAMMED…read more After looking through our paperwork it seems the price offered via email from the "boss" was not honored, nor was the rate that was offered. Did not get the extra $1500 for the trade in, nor the down payment match they advertised. No where in the email did it say any conditions applied to receive the price, or interest rate. Was supposed to be 29,999. Sales contract shows 34,880. Seriously deceptive and scammy. The special financing was offered by VW credit, whom Eddys did not even run my credit though as I would see it as a hard inquiry. They went with a local credit union (who I was already pre approved for) I'm assuming because they get a kick back for sending the loans to. Was also supposed to get a call to schedule an appointment for interior warranty, never got a call. I have reached out to resolve the issue and was told "the paperwork can be confusing." Yet the new FTC CARS rule explicitly states "clearly and conspicuously". The only thing confusing about this situation is how I will end up paying nearly 60k for a Volkswagen Tiguan, would've got a NEW BMW for that! I have purchased cars from Walser (both Audi and Mercedes) and have NEVER been treated the way these "people" have treated me. Seriously, take your business to Walser or anywhere else the STEVENS don't have a hand
