Rachel arrived on time, had an impressive setup, and maintained a warm, friendly demeanor throughout the event. I would absolutely consider working with Rachel again for future events. Thank you, Rachel!

There were a few places that responded to my request. Rachel from Sparkle was the most responsive to all my questions. We started corresponding on Wednesday and my event was the following Monday. By Friday we were ready to go. 2 popcorn machines and enough supplies (kernals and bags) for 200 people. She delivered the machines by 8:30AM when my contract didn't have a start time until 9AM. She knew I was concerned I wouldn't know how to run a popcorn machine. I am always a concerned when I am using other people's money makers..lol...I don't want to mess it up. Anyhow, she was thorough in her directions. Even left me a printed instructions sheet to refer to. The popcorn was the highlight of the training. Impressing 200+ attorney's is quite a feat by the way, and the popcorn did it..lol! Thank you Sparkle for your professionalism, your promptness and your patience. There was a little back and forth there for a minute but Rachel never made me feel like I was a bother. She always responded to me in a timely manner and made everything go seamlessly. I will make sure to recommend and use Sparkle again for future parties.

I cannot express how thrilled we were with their services, professionalism, and overall energy! From the moment we contacted them, it was clear that we were in capable hands and what they created for our special evening was absolute MAGIC! Jamie and Eric went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding décor was nothing short of spectacular. We wanted to create a unique and cozy atmosphere, while providing additional seating for our guests and they delivered in spades. Two months advance, Jamie presented us with multiple seating arrangement options with various couches, pillows, and additional decor to supplement each space. Their selection of couches, chairs, rugs, and custom decor was extensive. Every piece was handpicked to fit the vibe of our event. We were able to provide feedback and then together landed on how each area would look and feel, and finalized each item from their inventory. What truly stood out was the level of customization they offered. They took the time to understand our vision and provided multiple options that aligned with it. Even more impressively, White Rabbit provided us with gorgeous, custom signs for the entire event. Knowing our color scheme and decor direction, Jamie took the initiative to design signage and frame everything so it was wedding day ready! On the day of our wedding, the delivery and set up was absolutely seamless. I didn't have to worry about anything. When we finally saw everything set up, we were in awe. The décor completely transformed our venue (a family ranch property in Auburn, CA) into a dreamy, romantic space that left our guests raving about it. It was more than we ever could have imagined. I can't thank Jamie and Eric enough for their incredible service, attention to detail, and their ability to turn our wedding into a truly memorable experience. They were transparent and upfront about costs, which made the planning process smooth. Timely and trustworthy on the day of the event. Quick and efficient on the day of clean up. An absolute dream. If you're looking for a rental company that takes the stress out of event planning and leaves you thinking "Wow, that was so easy!", look no further. They are the cream of the crop. An absolute pleasure to work with, and I truly look forward to using their services again in the future.

In the world of party rentals, we found there were many others who would gouge for transportation fees or have enormous minimums that smaller parties cannot afford. We were able to do our event between $500 - $1000 and have the furniture and additions needed to make it look like the 1890s London space we were looking for. During the process, they recommended extra items and also advised against pieces that didn't fit with our theme. I really appreciated how ethical they were and how trustworthy. They came to deliver our items at the appointed date and time on the weekend and picked up the next day. And what's even better? They put them exactly where we needed them! Another local company (won't mention the name) brought the other items hours late and dumped them at the base of our driveway. The difference between White Rabbit and the other Santa Cruz company were astounding, and not in a good way. I highly recommend White Rabbit and no, I was not paid to leave this rating. I'm just that impressed with how wonderful they made my husband's 60th birthday.

Another two times, I had called and someone who didn't speak English answered, but both times I was put on hold to get someone who did. I saw that this phone number actually goes to El Rosal Bakery, so I guess they are running bounce house rentals on the side? Who knows! I rented a bounce house from a different local company for the kids at my husband's birthday a few months ago, and it was $100 more expensive ($399 total), I could only have it set up for 2.5 hours (4pm - 6:30pm) due to the pick-up schedule for the driver that Saturday, AND most importantly to me... it *STANK*. I mean, these little 3 year olds reeked like a high school boys' locker room, so badly you could smell them as they ran by you. Terrible. The bounce house for El Rosal was reasonably priced, and was delivered the morning of our party. The guys who came were great to work with, AND they fully cleaned/sanitized the entire interior after setting it up for us... it didn't smell AT ALL the entire day! Worth it for that alone, I was so happy they did that! ANDDDD we got to keep the bounce house for an entire 24 hours, so the kids could play in it as long as they wanted that evening, with pickup the next morning. Communication was great via text for delivery and pickup. Highly impressed with the whole experience and would absolutely recommend them for kids entertainment for any party!

I read a review of a customer who had their bounce house canceled last minute and it worried me a bit. But, I wanted to give my kiddo a special 6th birthday and with all the expenses, a party requires, couldn't afford the prices that all the other bounce house places demanded so I went for it. I ordered over the phone and paid up front. I got a small bounce house (for my small space), two tables, and 25 chairs for my backyard party. I also went there and bought a piñata with a convenient stop at the dollar tree next door for all the party supplies (table covers, cups, plates, etc.). I couldn't have been happier with El Rosal's level of service, professionalism, and delivery. they even called the day before to make sure the timing was right for the party's start time. We even got to keep everything for 24 hours so my kiddo and I got some extra time in the bounce house, which was bonding and fun. The kids had a blast and I will definitely be ordering bounce houses exclusively from El Rosal in the future. The piñata was also a huge hit! Thank you for making a big ticket item like a bounce house accessible for the rest of us!

He somehow managed to be both incredibly chill and personable while also being 1000% locked-in and on top of everything - it was very clear from the start that he really cared about getting every detail right, even though he made it all look extremely effortless! He also had previously worked with our venue (Waterfall Lodge & Retreat in Ben Lomond, CA) many times before and knew a bunch of our other vendors as well, which made coordination super smooth and easy. The ceremony and reception dinner audio were flawless - not a single hiccup or weird transition. And once the dancing started, Trevor completely nailed the vibe. His mixing was seamless, and he read the crowd better than we ever could've imagined! Every song felt perfectly timed and chosen, and for songs we had requested he played for certain guests of ours, he made sure that the people a certain song was for were on the dance floor before hitting play. His work was just overall exceptionally seamless and extremely impressive! The whole day flowed so perfectly, and Trevor's energy had a lot to do with that. He absolutely crushed it and left us wanting the music to never end! If you're looking for a DJ who's talented, easy to work with, and just genuinely fun to be around, we can't recommend Trevor enough. We also added a photo booth to our SCDJ package kind of last minute, and they were super quick to add it to our contract, hammer out the details, and put together a personalized photo strip design. Our booth was manned by Scott, who was an absolute gem - he was just super sweet and very patient with everyone throughout the whole evening. And the photobooth ended up being way more of a hit than we thought it would be (plus, getting digital copies of all the photos afterwards was super cool!), so if you're on the fence regarding whether to also book a booth with SCDJ, just do it!

When we first dropped my daughter off at camp, my wife and I immediately felt a bit weird about this place. None of the instructors welcomed us in. In fact, only one of the instructors spoke to us. He actually recognized my wife from somewhere, but they couldn't remember where. After they figured out where they recognized each other from the coach's response was "Jesus F@#%$&* Christ, that's where I remember you from. Time sure flies!" Not exactly the type of language to be using in front of children. We checked in at lunch on the first day, and unfortunately, the instructors seemed to be more interested in whatever was going on with their phones than actually interacting with the kids. The scene was the same at pick up time. Coaches on the couch, kids playing on their own. When checking in with my daughter at lunch on the first day, she told us they hadn't sung anything yet. But instead watched a movie. At the end of the first day, we asked her "What songs did you sing today?" She told us she learned part of 1 song......over the course of a 6 hour camp. The following day was even more alarming when my when my wife went to pick our daughter up from camp and the coach informed her that they had a "very chill day." We asked our daughter what they did at camp and she said "We didn't sing at all today. Instead, the kids voted not to sing because there was a new kid and she didn't want to sing. I wanted to sing, but we voted. So we just watched movies and played dress up." I was dumbfounded. We had paid over $200 for a VOCAL camp. 2 days into this "vocal camp" our kid had watched Disney movies, played a lot of dress up and learned part of 1 song. After hearing all of this, I decided to call Forte. Nobody picked up the phone. So I drove down to their location to try and ask what had happened during camp that day. I proceeded to ask the lead vocal coach about the days events and why there was no singing today. Her response was (loosely quoted) "The kids decided they wanted to spend double time on costumes and so they voted not to sing today." "Also, the kids are young so they can't sing and do stage work all day, despite this being a vocal camp." I then asked when they are going to sing, and her response was (again loosely quoted) "Well they will have to spend the whole day singing tomorrow because they didn't sing today." (Wait....what? I'm confused. I thought the kids were "too young to spend all day singing...????) Never once did I receive an apology. But I did receive multiple attempts to justify why things at camp fell short. I notified the coach that my daughter wouldn't be attending the remaining days of the camp as I felt like this camp was totally misrepresented. To us, this camp acted more like a daycare. (But a daycare where the employees are more interested in whatever is happening on their cell phones than the children they are supposed to be interacting with.) We might have been able to just write this off, and chalk it up to one of those "you live and you learn lessons." But then something too coincidental happened and we felt like we just had to say something. We purchased a spot in this camp after seeing a posting on the Facebook site "Scotts Valley Virtual Garage Sale." The head vocal coach says a parent bought the spot, but their child came down with pneumonia, so she was trying to help her sell it. OK. Well interestingly enough, 2 weeks later the same head vocal coach posts on Scotts Valley Virtual Garage Sale again that a parent purchased a spot for their child for Katy Perry camp, but instead they decided to go to Hawaii, and thus she decided to help sell her spot. Coincidence? Maybe, but it sure feels more like a deceiving way to sell spots in your vocal camp. It feels unethical. I took screen shots of the two postings and uploaded them to yelp so you can review them if you want. Our daughter has attended many dance/performing arts camps for similar or even cheaper pricing. So this was not our first go-round. The other camps we have been a part of have all been professionally run. Unfortunately, Forte Vocal Academy's Disney Princess Vocal Camp felt completely thrown together. It lacked structure, professionalism, and even common courtesy.
