I've lived here for several years. People are moving out of here right and left. My neighbor left…read morein under a year. The owners keep raising the rent, the electricity is problematic and in fact, the fire chief said he has not seen wiring done this way. My understanding is the wiring is very old in these units and it worries me about a possible electrical based fire. The owners are extremely unfriendly. If I were you, looking for a place to live in Lindale, I would certainly avoid this place. By the way, the place as I have always called it is "Meadowlark Duplexes" NOT Meadowlark Place.

Upon her recommendation I hired Winslow movers as well for the weekend of June 26. They showed up an hour late, did not use any dollies until they got to the new residence and carried each box out separately. It took an hour and a half for them to load my one bedroom apartment. they said they had to stop and get gas and then would be to the new residence to unload. One of my neighbors and my granddaughter said they were smoking marijuana in the truck. I did not pay them to smoke marijuana on my dime.There were three of us in three separate cars that were all there before the movers. They showed up approximately 45 minutes later and said they got a bite to eat and then got gas. I did not pay them $480 to stop and eat and get gas. Moreover, since it tookLonger they tried to charge me $645. My dryer needed another prong connection and one of the movers said he would put it on if we could get it while they were still moving stuff in. We did and were back within 30 minutes and they were still unpacking. Finally they did decide to use the dolly which was coincidental to me telling his boss I would not pay $645. Needless to say he did not install the necessary connection. I have damage to several pieces of furniture and one large mirror due to their incompetence. They drove away without saying anything and left three pieces of equipment here. Monday the owner called and said he would assemble the necessary connection to my dryer. He made no apologies and said he only had one crew, so it had to be the same crew that moved my daughter, when my daughter was told by his wife there were two crews. Please think twice before you use these guys - - you may be lucky enough to get the one good crew or unlucky enough to get the one I had.
