On Sunday, June 13th 2026 our air conditioner in Unit 128D failed around noon. With the maintenance technician out of town, an outside vendor was contacted but never arrived. After learning of our situation around 5p.m. Mrs. Wells took it upon herself, on her day off, to come to the property with her husband, Chris. Together, they retrieved and installed two window A/C units so we could remain comfortable. My wife is on oxygen, making a cool environment especially important. Mrs. Wells demonstrated genuine compassion, initiative, and a true commitment to resident care. She is a credit to Legends of Lindale and a wonderful example of service above and beyond expectations. That or she's just plain ignorant with a bad attitude. She has no business answering the phones. For example I paid them to set up a whole house filter, and they were excited to set up this new filter I just purchased, but when I called the place to set up the filter, she told me "we don't do that,". it was like talking to a brick wall. Later on the employee that was so excited to help me with the new filter called and told me "we don't do that" and acted as if I was pulling teeth for them to come do a simple job. I wonder why ? Cut that lady before it's too late. I will take my money elsewhere.

Unrecognizable as my home once they moved out, I was in the market for new carpet and linoleum for my whole home. I looked at several big box stores but could not find what I was looking for anywhere. A friend of our family recommend Carpets & Moore. While I thought it a little severe to drive from Oak Cliff to Terrell just for carpet, but my tune changed once I got inside and started talking to the owners. They were honest and helpful and I found exactly what I wanted. They were able to order it and get it delivered in a week. I had them install the linoleum (we had a friend do the carpet) and I could not be more pleased. Installation was quick and professional and it looks beautiful. If I had to do it over again, I would have gone here first.
