More than a week after that (still haven't received it) I ask for an overnight from Steele and they claim to be out of stock. I then cancel my more than two week old order and they tell me they will refund the money when I send them back the product the 3rd party still has not sent (which I verified by the tracking number) Um, yea, I don't think so. I never received it and now I'm responsible for the third party to ship it before my refund. I called my CC company to address it and emailed Steele threatening calling the BBB and FTC. There is no question that the product I recieved from Luke Leather is a high quality, Italian 100% Top Grain leather product. If you've done your research you know the varying qualities of leather. And short of having them come to your house and killing the cow right in front of you, this is the best quality. Which blows my mind because the stain choice they use in their ad for the Austin Group is Safari Tan, which is what I picked! I'm not sure how they could have screwed this up! When it arrived it was ... just ... brown. If you look at their display photos Safari Tan is a sort of light brown, a carmel tan sort of hue. To make matters worse, I dealt with the owner of the company the whole time! Which, by the way, Scott Davis is the most attentive, and nicest guy you'd ever want to have to deal with. He actually answered my emails within an hour or two sending out questions and answers to his questions. AND HE WAS ON VACATION THE WHOLE TIME WE COMMUNICATED! Obviously I couldn't guarantee that kind of customer service, I have no idea how big his company is, or how many other people he could have delegated me to. If you buy furniture from Luke Leather YOU ARE GETTING THE BEST PRODUCT AND BEST PRICE ANYWHERE. I researched furniture pieces for a year before I made my choice. There isn't a Leather Furniture corner on the U-S internet that I have not been and scrutinized for accuracy and complete sense of past-purchase reviews for those websites and their products. So I highly recommend buying Luke Leather, and buying it directly from the Luke Leather website if you're interested in high quality furniture without being tricked into buying garbage and without being fooled into thinking you have to pay inflated prices. However, once we we stopped and looked, we saw their business hours on a sign it was just faded and hard to read. I can't recall the hours at the moment but they're only open on Saturdays and Sundays for a few hours during the day.I believe they are open 11am-4pm, but I will update the hours when I go by next. One of the owners lives next door and saw us looking around. He came over and told us to come on in and feel free to take our time. We had a wonderful experience.
