EDIT ON MY REVIEW: Because I shared an honest review of my experience with this child care center, they chose to block me from their Facebook page -- the only place where my daughter's Pre-K graduation video was posted. I was able to watch it once during the livestream, but now I can't go back and rewatch or save that special moment. As if not being allowed to attend in person wasn't already enough, they've taken away even the ability to revisit that memory. If hearing the truth about how families REAL experiences is upsetting, perhaps the solution is to reflect and improve -- not silence the people speaking up. At no point was I unfair or disrespectful and chose to leave names out. I simply shared my experience, and for that, I was shut out of something that should have been about the kids, not the school's pride. Because of this, what was originally a 3-star review is now a 1-star. This isn't just about me -- it's about how this center chooses to respond to honest feedback from the families they serve. Original: As a parent new to the area, I had high hopes when enrolling my child into the Pre-K program at LCCC, even though only a couple of months remained in the school year. Unfortunately, our experience has been a mix of positives overshadowed by several disappointing moments. During our initial classroom visit, the front desk staff kindly introduced us to the pre-k teacher. However, she continued with her work and did not acknowledge us until she was finished, which made the interaction feel awkward and unwelcoming. She eventually addressed us, but only after a noticeable delay, and commented on how it was unfortunate that our child wouldn't have a full end-of-year binder like the others -- making it seem as though our arrival was an inconvenience rather than a welcome. To be fair, the teacher appears to be very knowledgeable and clearly understands how to run a classroom. Her methods reflect a strong educational background and she demonstrates excellent teaching ability. However, her demeanor often feels too strict for a group of 5-year-olds. She can come across as dismissive, particularly when a conversation doesn't seem to interest her. In early childhood education, warmth and approachability are just as vital as structure, and unfortunately, that balance felt lacking at times. Keep in mind, I am only speaking out of the couple of months of knowing this teacher. At this point, She could have just been over it. I understand that no school is perfect and I truly appreciate the hard work educators put into early childhood education. Still, clear communication, empathy, and a sense of inclusion are essential - not just for children, but for the families who support them.I hope LCCC takes this feedback as an opportunity to improve and better support both students and their parents moving forward. Communication issues extended beyond the classroom. While the front office staff is generally polite, they are not especially helpful or proactive. Due to the word limit of the review, I was unable to include two minor but personally meaningful incidents. The first involved a situation where a parent had the teacher announce a pool party to the entire class, only for my daughter to later learn she was not invited. While I personally did not take issue with this, it was understandably very disappointing for my daughter. The second incident was a possible miscommunication regarding graduation. It's possible I missed an important announcement due to my limited Spanish fluency, as some information was shared in Spanish. Additionally, I may have missed a key moment due to arriving five minutes late when dropping my daughter off but was still left in the dark upon arrival. read more

This place is so terrible, I took my kid out of there. They are all about money and don't care about the kids. The director is very rude and mean. I will not recommend this place to anyone. Look somewhere else. read more

I have to tell you that the person who did such a bad review on this place must have been bitter. Never in my life have I seen such a fantastic TEAM of individuals, caring for children, and always being there for the parents. I've had 2 kids there, and right now I have 1 because my eldest went on to kindergarten. They are on top of everything. From behavior to injuries, lunch desires, letting you know how your kid is doing, and acclimating.... shoot, they even potty trained my kid the first week he was there!!! It is just such a warm feeling when your kids are well taken care of and you have no problems with the preschool/daycare. And I call them a "team" because that's exactly what they are; I swear to you they are such a great team, they all work together, no matter what grade they manage, if they run the reception desk, or the janitorial professionals. Really a great VPK program and daycare! The staff is just extraordinary! I wish they had kindergarden and elementary program.

Writing this with tears in my eyes... I had my daughter who is 3 years old at LCCC (lehigh child care center). She started there Monday of last week. I wasn't 100% comfortable with it, but thought that it may just be the fact that this was her first time in daycare. She went M-W I kept her out Th and F due to her having a runny nose, I paid for the week on Monday in which I was charged $140 which was the full time rate and she is part time which is $114 (i drop her off at 6:30/7:00 am and I pick her up by 12:30pm, the receptionist told me we would use the overage as a credit for the following week, fast forward to today.. I walked her to the breakfast room and she is visibly upset and not wanting me to leave.. the two "teachers" were sitting there seeing me try and comfort her enough so I could sneak out.. and other than just looking at me, starting at me actually offered no kind of assistance, help, or comfort. I then started to get upset so I decided to leave with my daughter. I did not feel comfortable leaving her there visibly upset with these "teachers" that didn't feel like they should help. I stopped at the desk and the "director" who was monitoring the front desk asked "what happened", I explained everything and even started to cry as much as I wanted not to.. I just couldn't help it. She just gave me a blank stare back, didn't offer any kind of resolution, when I asked for the credit I was owed so that I could find child care elsewhere all she said was "I don't have a way to give you your money back"... REALLY! So at this point, I realize I am not getting anywhere with anyone I've come into contact with... I went to her classroom and got her pillow, blanket, and bed sheet and I left. At this point, now I'm VERY upset and crying, my mother called me as she does every morning, I explained everything to her she said she was going to call and get the directors information. My mother called and the same woman who was monitoring the front desk who is supposedly the "director" answered the phone, my mother asked her for the director's name and the woman refused to give it to her and then hung up on her. When my mom called back the woman handed the phone to another "teacher" who told her the director didn't answer any calls and was "very busy" that she would have to come in to the facility to speak with her. I am SO beyond upset, its not even about the credit, its about the principal. How am I supposed to feel comfortable leaving my child in the care of someone who doesn't even feel the need to try and comfort her when she is upset. I have finals coming up with school, my husband just started with a new department and is training during the day which is why we just needed part time care in the morning for the next couple of weeks... I have no idea what I am going to do now, but I just couldn't leave my daughter there. You're in business taking care of parent's most precious asset and this is how you operate, its horrible. Hardly anyone from the director to the teachers speak English well, which when dealing with preschool aged kids causes communication issues and developmental language issues... I am upset with myself for even allowing my daughter to go here for the three half days she was there last week. read more
