We were staying at a hotel in Naples and TLC did the most amazing job entertaining my 3 year old. I felt very comfortable leaving my daughter while my husband and I went out for dinner. My 2 kids and their cousins were cared for by the 3 TLC ladies (mom + her 2 daughters) during my sister's wedding reception. That said, I cannot comment on cost or how that was handled. But I can comment on these things: - very upbeat/attentive personaliites of all the 3 ladies - impressive number of fun and creative games/activities they played with the kids - provided a ton (in my opinion, too many) party favors/gifts for the kids. Even went to the effort/detail of personalizing many items they gave each child. read more

I've used this service for years. The sitters are professional, helpful, friendly, and great with the children. They come to your room with toys and a smile. Being able to leave you children with people you can trust is priceless while on vacation. Who doesn't want a grownup night. Yes the prices are a bit steep but for peace of mind it is worth it. read more

I used TLC when I was in Florida for a wedding. I was a little nervous about it since I was in an unfamiliar place and wasn't sure how my 2-year old would be with a stranger. Theresa was assigned to us, and she was fantastic! It was very comforting to leave my son with a retired school nurse, and she was extremely professional and competent. I was also impressed that she visited the library before coming & brought with her some toys and books (knowing we would have limited toys since we were just there for the weekend). My son was very happy to spend the two evenings with her that we were at wedding activities. I would highly recommend TLC. read more

Marion was prompt in getting back to me with my need for a sitter for our 8 & 10 year old while staying at the JW Marriott in Marco Island. After the original sitter came down with the flu, she was still able to provide a reliable sitter the morning of. Kalyn was a wonderful, bright, capable college student. She took great care of my kids and we felt secure leaving them in her care. She brought games and played with them. Took them to get Fro-yo and watched movies in the room. I would certainly use Kalyn and a TLC service again if we return to the area. It is pricey - with all fees 20.60 an hour - but well worth it for the peace of mind and all the background and security checks being done for us. read more

I posted a review on Google but wanted to share it here too, since I use Yelp more than Google reviews. My husband and I just returned from our vacation to Naples. It was our first trip with the baby and, since she was born in the middle of the pandemic, our first time using a babysitter. Our hotel recommended several companies, one of which was A Tender Loving Care service. I researched several companies and after speaking with owner Marion decided to hire one of their sitters for 4 days of our trip. Initially we were booked with Mary Jean and I spoke with her on the phone and she was lovely. We were excited to meet her, however she got sick and so Marion said Mattie would be our sitter instead. Mattie was WONDERFUL. She was truly the highlight of our vacation. My 11-month-old daughter had so much fun with her and she took such thoughtful care of her. My husband and I were able to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing our baby was in good hands. She checked in with me throughout the day and was sensitive to my first-time-mama desire to get updates and nurse the baby after naps. As a huge bonus, Mattie is an incredibly gifted photographer. She took photos of our family that I will treasure forever. She's also just cool to talk with and hang out with and she brought us fresh mango from her backyard that was the best I've had in my life. Marion too is really considerate and they made sure to have toys and books that were age appropriate. I actually would return to Naples just for the opportunity to use ATLC service and see Mattie again. Also, I love using small family-run companies, which ATLC is (Mattie and Mary Jean are Marion's daughters!) Thank you Mattie and Marion for a wonderful trip! read more

We used A Tender Loving Care sitting services twice when we visited FL last week and had a great experience. Our sitter, Lorraine, was wonderful and we trusted her immediately; a difficult task when your away from home!? The rates were a bit steep ($14/hour per family and two of the kids were sleeping) but well worth it for piece of mind! We would use again next time we visit! read more

Marion sent her wonderful daughter, Mattie, to watch our little boy one night while we were in Naples on a business trip. Mattie was great with our 8 month old little boy. She brought him a few toys to play with, read to him, fed and changed him then put him down for the night at his bedtime. She watched him for about 6.5 hours. Would highly rec having Mattie watch your little ones as she is a very kind and gentle lady, and clearly loves little ones.... even if it does cost you a bit more. read more

The sitters are great but the owner will price gauge you at the end of the night. We had three kids in total which is $18 an hour. Since one of the children was a cousin and not from the same family, she charged us $24 an hour, plus 15% gratuity, and 5% agency fee. The kids were all in the same house and not requiring any special needs. In addition, $35 for gas and we were staying within the Naples area that they serve. There are plenty of other options in the Naples area that will include bonded/insured sitters. read more

The sitters were nice but the owner keeps terrible records and isnt truthful when it comes to what she charges so I can't recommend them.

Sitters were great but owner was incredibly and aggressively confused about the reservation time and the number of children that we had to be taken of. She tried to charge us a higher rate than she had originally quoted us and then accused us of being bad parents when we challenged her. It was almost as if she was angry that she had gotten so confused about everything. I cannot in any way recommend this service as the owner was so aggressive and angry, but the sitters themselves were very good. read more
