It is usually busy from opening at 7am until they close at 2:30 pm so I learned it's best to go online and make an appointment , I have appointments now and even if a dozen people seemingly in front of me when it's my time I usually get called in right on time and I get my blood work and go straight home . Make the appointment especially if you want an early morning appointment . Three people that work at this one of many local locations are all really good at drawing blood . Painless good at what they do! They do make check in easy just make sure you bring your Medical insurance card and Pa. Drivers license you must use them to check in at automated kiosk machine .

The behavior was very rude and distasteful. When I reviewed the location website site prior to my visit there was no disclose about drug screenings on weekends, nor was there no disclosure on the Kiosk that said what I was coming in for could not be serviced. The staff whole is very unprofessional, they sat around asking why would we come without an appointment when the website clearly states walk ins are welcome

The office was clean, bright, and comfortable. The staff was professional and courteous. Our technician knew his stuff and took us promptly, adapted to the language issue, and performed admirably. No matter what time of day I call, their "representative are busy helping other patients". The rep tried to contact the billing office with me on hold, but even she couldn't get through. In my mind, this is terrible customer service.

It is one person who directs the ones who cause the pain and injuries. The location is now staffed with immigrants who do not fear any accountability because they just claim prejudice. I am 83 and from the generation that expected accountability. I am not a prejudice person. I dont care who draws my blood. Sometimes there is a little pinch or pain but when the person goes into the vein and runs the needle deep along the vein smiling and saying "am I hurting you". Today she left loudly saying I have no idea what she means. YES she did and has done the same thing on other visits. Funny how someone else gets the stick done without even knowing I got stuck. This was not my first visit and I have always enjoyed the quality of care and the friendliness of the staff. It is easy to register upon arriving (just make sure you have your ID card and Insurance card). The process to register at the kiosk is simple and self-explanatory. My name was called and I was seated in a private room within 20 minutes. The whole process from start to finish (arrival to departure) took 30 minutes. I had no appointment and I was pleased with how little time this visit took. I will definitely return to Labcorp Newtown as long as they participate and are in network with my insurance carrier.

This laboratory is an adjunct to the PennMed Medical offices at the same address. My primary care…read morephysician is on the second floor of this facility. As part of my annual physical, blood and urine samples were required in advance of that appointment. What an amazing convenience to be able to have this preliminary work done in the same location, and be confident the results will be in my file, and in my email inbox before meeting with the doctor. Compared to Lab Corp and Quest, PennMed's Outpatient Laboratory maintains all records in house and their appointments are on time. Their phlebotomists are as skilled as the other places, but they also have other staff present for check-ins and question answering, while those other places are always one person operations with a way too busy nurse running around doing everything by herself. This office feels more comfortable, and at the same time, more professional. So nice for something medical to become more simplified and convenient, rather than the contrary in this modern age of medical anxiety and confusion. This office is definitely a major improvement.
